A Walk Apart Toronto Dog Walkers

I've been very happy with this company so far. They are a family of dog walkers, and send the same person every day, so my dog is not getting shuffled through random walkers all the time. They do back each other up when they go on vacation, so that's the only time you'll get a different walker, but that's expected and I think good because at least your dog is still getting walks.All in all, it's been good dealing with them, and I've recommended them to a few friends who got puppies.

A Walk Apart / Toronto Dog Walkers has helped make the first few weeks with our new beagle puppy, great! Pictures and updates from his puppy visits while we are at work are very comforting; we know he is in great hands - having fun, getting some exercise and peeing in the right place - when we can't be there. I have been using A Walk Apart since I moved to the area about 7-8 months ago. It works as follows: (1) arrange a meeting to meet the walker and to assess the dog's needs, (2) schedule walks.I was able to arrange the initial meeting on the same day and the walks to start the next day, this was very helpful. My dog is walked four times a week and is usually gone for about an hour and a half. My particular walker has been very helpful in addressing my dogs special needs (he is old and heat sensitive). He loves his walks and the routine. I have been very impressed with this service so far. On several occasions, I have used their boarding service, which is in a home setting with his same walker. They send pictures via email and let you know how your dog is doing.I would highly recommend this service (both walking and boarding).

When my young English Setter and I moved to Toronto I wasn't how we were going to cope. Gusto was shy and hadn't been exposed to many dogs and I was working lots of hours with shifts, on-call and weekends and didn't know how I was going to manage. Madalina and her family made my transition easy and Gusto life a joy. I used to joke, but I think it's true, that Madalina is my dog's favourite person. She cared about him, his well-being and health, took the time to place him in a group of dogs that she felt was suitable for him and varied his walks to keep him interested. My experience with this company has been great!! They walk my dog Lexi everyday when I am at work and when I go away for the weekend they board her at their home. I have never disappointed with their services and would recommend them to anyone who needs a reliable and responsible dog walker.

The people from A Walk Apart are very nice people. We used their dog service when my son and daughter-in-law stayed with us for a few weeks. A lady walked their mini poodle every morning and offered to change his water, even feed him. She was really sweet with him and gave him treats when she left each day.
