Abuse of authority!!! they put handcuff on me for no reason ,psychological treatening they made wait for hours they made my car a mess broke some my stuff steal other, they took my celphone extremely aggresive im an american citizen with everything in order and they didnt allow me to pass

I have no problems with the border patrol people asking me a series of questions and searching my vehicle it is their duty to do that. I also have no problem when they do this because I know I am not doing anything illegal and that they will never find anything on me. They’re all doing a great job

Pleasant experience. Competent and friendly guard. The bridge into Canada after the service is a wonderful sight and very beautiful.

As far as border crossings go this place is great. They are fast and courteous. The people who are complaining are probably doing so because they were caught. I always have my receipts and declare everything. This is not a game folks just do your job and you won't get hassled.

As a first time business importer I was not prepared for the customs formalities. Officer Couture and a lady officer were very helpful in guiding me through the procedural documentation.They were very knowledgeable in their area and provided me with clear information as to filling the B3 documentation. Both of them also helped me keep my packages in the CBSA warehouse as I didn't have the requisite information at hand. I had returned the next day with needed information and my packages were released.Glad to have such courteous and diligent officers to keep our Borders safe and at the same time to open trade barriers by providing complex information in simple terms.Thank You!

We have crossed this border crossing now for over 10 years and as expected - the guards are strict and serious, always by the book - as we expect them to be - but are also very polite, professional and extremely courteous. The facility recently had an upgrade and looks much more modern and larger than it did before.It is also nice to see some staff that have been there for years - with experience in handling almost any matter.

My wife went across the border to Ogdensburg, and lost her keys.So, I took a cab from Ottawa to the Canadian border services at Johnstown to pass her spare keys. She was lucky enough to find a fellow Canadian across the border who was willing to drive her to me, and then back to the car for free. We did pay him something even though we refused initially. I told the border officer, that I'm just waiting here to pass the keys to my wife after she crosses over, and then they are going to go back to the other side to get the car.He was rude, told me I can't wait there, all in a very condescendingly patronizing manner, shaking his head all the while like I was causing him hardship. Good thing my wife just crossed over when he was being rude to me. I handed my wife the keys, gave the guy some gas money.I just wanted to wait for my wife there so I could wait in some shade until she comes back with the car, and we can both drive back home together. He said I can't wait there, and chased me away, so here I'm am writing this in 2pm sun, and heat on the side of the road in front of South Grenville Paramedic station while waiting for my wife to pick me up.Thank you for your service!

Make your life hard for no reasons! Their job is to facilitate and not complicate your entry to Canada, they need serious customer service training!
