Lennox and Addington Dark Sky Viewing Area

Finally got here and it did not disappoint. We were there for the perseids meteor shower, which we were unable to see due to the supermoon.Regardless, of not seeing the meteor shower we had great bonding time as a family all nestled under the stars on blankets. Definitely returning with my camera.

Well worth the quick 50 min drive from Belleville. Spacious parking , porta potty access and the new spacious concrete pad with enough room for many visitors to witness the skies above in complete darkness. Attended a organized function put on by L and A. Very organized and very well put together. The telescope viewing was great. Can’t wait to return.

Beautiful quiet spot. Look forward to returning when it is dark. Large parking lot. Great spot for a picnic during the day.

Away from city lights, tucked away in a cozy county is this dark sky reserve flocked by astronomy enthusiasts from near and far. Sky is dark, as promised, gives you enough opportunities for star gazing and planet watching, or for those long exposure milky way shots. I wish they put up etiquette signage so that casual visitors know to switch off their car headlamps so not to ruin others photos

Lennox and Addington dark sky viewing area is a really awesome spot to visit. You can come up here during any time of the week and set up and get comfortable in your chair and enjoy the relaxing and mesmerizing view. There isn't any kind of charge or entry fees to come here it's totally free. There are also many volunteers who will come up there with their telescopic equipment and help you look at the sky more precisely. When we went there were some volunteers who showed us the planet Jupiter and its moon very clearly. It's a great place to bring young children and you can stay there for the night cap. We were there for not more than 2 hours but we really enjoyed the time we spent there and we also got to see many shooting stars which was really magical.

It's a lovely idea and very cool pointing out stars but way to busy. And left disappointed. I'd rather pay to have a more intimate experience and the chance to look thru the telescope more.Have to arrive way to early to get a parking spot and a spot to sit. I understand..it's nice to provide an opportunity for folks to see stars at night. But we left early

Fantastic! I learned so many things.Highly recommend going to the laser guided presentation. Rob and the volunteers are pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable!Make sure to bring bug spray!!

Much better than Torrance， and the visitors keeps their headlights off once they parked. And it has giant place to park compared to Torrance. The quality of the road is another 5 rates reason. Didn't go around too much bcz we went there at night and I can hear the wolf. Lol, a great stargazing experience.
