I can't say enough about our experience with Jay. He helped me plan my proposal from start to finish and was SO helpful with helping me pick just the right spot and providing incredibly detailed directions on how to get there etc. (there was no cell service so no google maps or anything). The proposal went without a single hitch thanks to Jay and Tash. The photographs captured the moment perfectly. I HIGHLY recommend Jay and definitely recommend having Tash come too for whatever photographs you need. They were so easy to work with and clearly work very well together as a team. I can't say enough about them other than you won't regret hiring them

I had the pleasure of having Jay photograph my engagement shoot over the summer in the mountains. He was extremely professional, engaging and enthusiastic. My fiance is a huge introvert and Jay got him laughing and joking! I am so grateful to have such a passionate and experienced photographer capture this moment. Jay and Tash are amazing photographers. We first got to meet them when we were traveling to Alberta and decided to get engagement shots from them at Lake Moraine. We had such a good experience that we decided to fly them in for our wedding in Toronto. Not only are they good at what they do, they are just incredible human beings and made our special day - even better. Everybody at our wedding praised them and we are so grateful for all the hard work that they put into getting our photos look extra special!!

My husband and I went on a trip to Banff and at Lake Moraine my husband proposed. I met Jay because he was the photographer that my husband chose to take our pictures when he proposed, and I could not be more happier that he picked such a kind and talented person for the job. Not only did he play the role of a stranger perfectly (so I wouldn't catch on to the proposal) but he also took his time and offered us guidance and advice during our photoshoot which was extremely helpful as it made our photos turn out better than I expected!! We are so thankful that Jay was able to capture such a special moment for us in photos so we can cherish them for the rest of our lives!

Jay and Tash were phenomenal. We had met a few times virtually and planned out what I had wanted for the special moment. Jay had made sure that the proposal was how I had envisioned it and that I was very comfortable with the plan.During the photoshoot, Jay and Tash were extremely friendly, fun, and very professional. My goodness, I am not typically one to leave reviews, but Jay La Photography is the best experience I've ever had. We initially connected with him over various social media pages for the Bow Valley Community. When we got out to the beautiful location (also chosen by Jay), we did not know what to expect. Our nerves were quickly settled by Jay's amazing personality and fun loving attitude. The entire experience was easy-going but yet professional, and the results were absolutely stunning. These are hands down the best pictures of either of us that have ever been taken. We will love and cherish these photos forever.Due to our excellent experience we will be having Jay and his wonderful and talented wife Tash take pictures at our upcoming wedding.I sincerely hope you make the same choice, as you will be nothing but thrilled with the results and the absolute wonder of these beautiful people and their amazing talents.
