Aspen Grove Mechanical

Very impressed with Aspen Grove Mechanical. We were travelling across Canada from Ontario to Vancouver Island and were on an emergency return trip. We had a fuel leak on our motorhome that some shops in the area wouldn't touch and others said there would be a two week wait. Lucas came right away. Problem turned out to be two separate issues which he accomplished with competence and diligence to make sure things were finished off right. A huge thank you to Lucas and his partner Justin.

I don't normally leave reviews, but this company helped me out of a pinch when I needed it, and they had my vehicle repaired before a tow truck could even arrive. Five stars isn't enough.

We were travelling back home from Vancouver Island to the Kootenays, when our brake line burst right after we got off the highway, we called so many mechanical shops and no one seemed to care, even with having little people with us. Lucas was the only one who was willing to help us despite the fact that it was after 5 and showed up within a half hour to meet us. We were able to get back on the road thanks to him and safely.He is super personable as well and is definitely a people person which is always a bonus. 100% if you need something done consider calling him instead of some of the shops in the area. It’s always nicer to support people who actually care.

I don't think Lucas sleeps at all and just works to make the best customer experience possible. Long story short I broke down driving though Meritt and Lucas was the only place in town willing to help me. Other shops told me I couldn't get in for a week so I was lucky to find Lucas at Aspen Grove Mechanical. He works from his truck as well so talk to him before you spend money on a toe truck. Lucas is kind and takes the time to answer all your questions and gives you all the options before work is done. I would have been stranded without the help of this angel so I can't say enough good things. The prices are fair and within market value.

The best! Broke down coming into Merritt and was loosing air on my primary line. Had a brake pod that failed. Called Aspen Grove up, and he couldn't have been nicer. Quickly diagnosed over the phone, gave me a price, and was there in about 30 minutes. Another 45 minutes later, brake pod replaced and back on the road to truck another day. I wish I could leave 6 stars, I can’t speak highly enough about Lucas. We were driving through Merritt with the whole family, kids and dog, when my brake line burst and we had to do an emergency pull off. I called EVERY SHOP IN TOWN, nobody seemed to care. Called Aspen grove and Lucas assured me that he would be right over asap. He managed to completely replace my brake line and fix the issue in no time. Not only is Lucas a good mechanic but he’s also a great human with a heart of gold. We were so thrilled with Lucas we felt it necessary to take him out for dinner. We can now say we’ve got a new friend in Merritt. What a turnaround of events, we’re happy to have had the opportunity to work with Aspen grove and Lucas, just 10/10 all the way! The world needs more people like Lucas!!

Lucas had no problem helping me out when i was getting swarmed by rcmp and my rig had some minor issues.. it went from being towed to repaired and better than ever. He even went as far as to drive to get me some tires for a wicked deal he had put together. never once was it about money more about getting me rolling and out of the tow yard. for his work i couldn’t wait to pay the bill and even am trying to take them out for diner as we speak!!. (he and his business partner justin) it was refreshing to see a young guy with the class and work ethic like him as it reminded me were still surrounded by great people!! I was in a pickle when we had that really cold weather here in Merritt. My power steering stopped working. I called the service and Lucas was kind enough to help me. Turns out my car operates the power steering with a fuse. He switched out my rear defrost with the defunct fuse and my car was good to go. I got the correct fuse the next day and all is well. They are prompt in their call back and very professional. If you're stuck on the road, I highly recommend you call Aspen Grove Mechanical.
