Poor execution of customer service (twice) and one mishandling of order that left me with zero lunches to provide to my clients at a corporate lunch meeting. I've ordered from Bernard et fils twice. First time, the order (approximately 10 lunch boxes) arrived on time but there were mistakes with the beverages I ordered (they were not consumed at all). I communicated this error to the company by email the same day and they simply apologized for the error by email. I would expect a credit for this mistake, but I was able to forgive this mistake and I placed another order with them a couple of months later. This second time, I never received my order and I only found out that it was delivered to the wrong place after I had called multiple times. They had tried to recuperate it but was unsuccessful because the other party had already open the boxes. They blamed it on the outsourced courier for the mishandling of the order and that they were sorry that they would be unable to deliver lunches to me for my event. This is the reason why I am writing this review and rating it 1/5 stars. I would expect them to try to help me solve the problem! Instead, throughout the process, I was sent back and forth to call the caterer or the courier to find out what was happening to my order, and hearing them tell me whose fault it was. I could not care more whose fault it was, I needed lunches for my event. They offered to reimburse me for the lunches that were not delivered (of course they had to!), but they did not offer me a solution. Very poor customer service and not solution-oriented. They do not understand the level of damage their mishandling of the entire situation could have on their customers and their businesses. Have I not followed up on the order, I do not know if they would ever acknowledge this major error on their end. I ended up having to run to the nearest restaurant to buy 12 lunches.

We've been receiving food every month at our offices from Bernard Traiteur after trying multiple options before.Its ALWAYS delicious, always on time, the staff is awesome.We have employees that actually told us that it's the best caterer we've ever had (including our chrismas events and such)Please try them out, you can't go wrong!

Nous avons commandė la boîte de Noël.Déjà, juste à déballer le tout, ce fut toute une surprise…..La boîte est ultra généreuse!Nous en avons eu assez pour récidiver l’expérience. En plus de faire durer le plaisir, tout est non seulement savoureux mais recherché et festif à souhait.Nous allons répéter l’expérience assurément!

Délicieux! J’ai eu la chance d’avoir une boîte à lunch à ma pause aujourd’hui et c’était excellent.

Bien que la nourriture soit plutôt bonne, je suis déçue du service reçu. Déjà la communication a été très laborieuse et ensuite les bouchées commandées ont toutes été livrées mélangées dans des boîtes sans aucun label. Ainsi il était impossible de savoir lesquelles correspondaient à quoi (il y en avait plusieurs centaines) et nos invités végétariens étaient obligés de faire tester les bouchées par d'autres... Même pas de menu papier livré avec pour donner des indices. Seul le livreur a été génial.

Excellent service and food for a professional cold luncheon that was done at work for over thirty people. Fresh and tasty food. Convenient, transparent and labeled lunchbox platters: easy to serve and easy to recycle. Excellent cost/quality ratio. Highly recommendable.
