Adrian and Lia were absolutely amazing. We were there after a long trip from Sydney. They constantly walked around us & checked on us. We returned later that night with my niece & her fiancé. It was packed but it didn’t stop us from having a great time. The bouncers were also amazing at the end of the night. Thank you so much for the great service. We definitely will be back if (when) we go to Halifax again. The food & service was amazing!

Classic pub experience, waiter wad the manager and comp'd extra cheese on our nachos in place of a meat option. Very appreciated as a vegetarian and made for a great meal. I always get the fine company blonde, also a classic lager. Great place for casual meet ups or a quick beer

the privileged location in downtown. Apparently it is an iconic place. The service of the waitress who attended me was terrible because all the dishes I ordered were brought and the order was taken by other waiters. To be lunch time the bathrooms were disgusting I don't want to imagine at 10pm. the waitress was not professional she treated my son rude.

I wish you could put zero stars. My daughter and her service dog were refused entry. She produced documentation when asked and her dog was well behaved. She had documentation in digital form which wasn’t good enough?!?! Do you know how this makes a person with a disability feel?? Notes taken… human rights complaint?

Sunday night visit from out of town. They're open until midnight but at 10:15 I'm told the kitchen is closed. Local pint was good.

Nice looking place from the outside and parts are old and rustic on the inside. Unfortunately not well maintained. The bathroom was gross and unstocked, the tables were unstable and the stairs to the bathrooms had chunks missing in the wood.My sons phone was dead and they have a charging station but everything was broken or keys missing.The lunch menu was small which was fine but we were given a long list of items that were out of stock which limited our choices. 3 of us ordered the burger and they were all dry and over cooked. The club sandwich had cold chicken, a tiny piece of bacon and way too much mayo. The fries were good.The prices are way too high everywhere and this place is no different. If I have to pay these high prices then I expect a better experience.The server was pleasant and helpful.I don't see myself coming back.
