Blackwell Dog Park
Very windy and there are large gaps underneath the fence doors which is not good for smaller dogs. Was very disappointed because it’s not small dog friendly.

Great area for off leash running for your dog. There is a large fenced area as well as a smaller one. And surrounded by lots of trails.

Very good dog park. Build on a hill with nect park views, including a small lake to the North (probably former landfill). Good quality grass, our Saluki had a good time running. Not much parking and only a single gate, but otherwise perfect.

Blackwell Dog Park
Located on top of a hill, next to a pond makes for a nice view but terrible winds. There has been attempts made to grow trees but they don't take, so there is no shade either. Mud pits form when it rains where the trees didn't take. There are no ammeneties. The hill can be a challenge for some, especially in the winter when it tends to get icy.It does have small dog and large dog enclosed spaces. There are lots of trails and paths nearby to explore on leash.

Awesome on dry days! But in spring it can be muddy ... summer time it is beautiful and lots of big doggies to play with, tennis balls, trash receptacle and water bowls (I suggest bringing your own water )

Off leash dog park surrounded by walking trails. Nice scenery. Certain times of day it gets busier than others. It's a bummer if no other dogs are there but it makes for a good opportunity to explore the trails (on leash). Note: if its been raining the off leash area becomes muddy so u may want to bring a towel for when it is time to get back in your car!!

The visit was great! We were only able to stay for an hour, but everyone that was there were awesome and all the dogs enjoyed themselves. Major Tank was pooped out and slept for hours after he got home.

Brought my puppy there for the first time after being reluctant as he hasnt had many experiences with other dogs. I was relieved to find out they had a small dog area perfect for puppies. It is very muddy at least when i went so bring some boots and prepare for a dirty dog lol. It be nice to have a bench in that area as the large dog area has a bench. Also a garbage can in the puppy area would be great so you dont have to walk to the other side to throw out waste bags. But overall a great experience and a wonderful place to socialize your dog
