Burrito Jax

Burrito Jax has improved since it first arrived in Fredericton.When the Fredericton Location first opened, portions were small, burritos were lazily assembled, and the overall service was lacking. I never had any intentions of returning.A few months later it would seem kinks have been ironed out and the service has improved greatly. Portions are noticeably larger and the staff is better trained.

Pretty good! I've had a burrito bowl twice, but I've been spoiled by Guacamole in Moncton, they're my gold standard when it comes to this sort of thing. I prefer my burrito bowl to have more rice than lettuce (they're lettuce-heavy here), and they don't seem to have any cilantro or corn, which I find kind of weird. Still, they're relatively quick and it is tasty, I would recommend it. Never been there when it was busy though so I can't say how they perform under pressure - seems to take them a while to make a burrito, for example. And I did hear them mess up someone else's order while I was eating mine.

The food is Tex-Mex and very good portions.

The service was really good, especially since they were short staffed with only one person working at the lunch rush.Despite the many bright colours and fun decorations, it somehow still feels dark and somewhat dingy.The burrito was very tasty with a lot of options to fully customize your order. The flavours all worked well. I was surprised by the sweet potato, I never would have thought of having it on a burrito but it works.The large burrito is a good size and pretty filling; which is good because at a price of $10 just for the burrito, I would be very dissatisfied with anything less.Overall, it was pretty ok. I may go back but it didn't wow me enough to convince me to definitely return.

It’s like someone went to Toronto saw chipotle and thought they could offer Mexican food.I got a burrito bowl with fish. I got 3 small pieces of fish with no flavor. For some reason they’re using coconut jasmine rice? If it’s marketed as a health bowl of some sort it could be ok I guess. My brother got the burrito. Omg so bad. The tortilla was dry and it was full of coconut rice. The chicken was bad too.

Delicious burritos I'm in there quite often the food there is great, service is great, only reason they get one less star is because sometimes the centers of the burritos are still cold other than that though the food is fantastic.

Liked this better than the other place in the Corbett centre. Good ingredients and they don't overload on rice.

Friendly staff, good quality food. I think the prices are a little high for the quantity you get, but the food was delicious.

Had a large burrito with extra sour cream. It was tasty but expensive for what you get.
