Advance Landscaping

This is the first year we decided to hire snow removal services for our residence in Manotick. We are incredibly happy with Advance. They were the most competitive quote and they have no limit on visits required or cm of snow. They don’t just remove our snow, they are extremely careful and thorough.

Don't waste your money. These people never plow unless you call them and harass them to come. Then they do a crap job and then they don't even come back to do any clean up like they are supposed to. We have had to on numerous occasions plow our own driveway cause they never came. Case in point it snowed 20cm today. Stopped at noon. It's almost 9pm and no plow all day so far. Also I don't know if it's the same owner or not but the plow that comes when they finally do has M&T written on it which is another snow plow company. As a result I will not use either company. Awful.

They do a decent job blowing the snow and being timely, but 2 years in a row now they have broken my lamp post at the end of my driveway. I have been trying to contact them for 3 months now with not a single answer. I have emailed, called multiple times, left messages, etc not a single call back

This winter was our first with Advance for snow removal and I'm so glad we chose them. Great service all around, really impressed with how quickly and frequently they came by, especially during the big snowstorms. Almost everyone in our neighborhood uses them and I can see why. I'll definitely be sticking with them every winter.

Despite having the gravel driveway acknowledged by the contractor and their respective marking (red flags) at the entrance as well as multiple emails reminding them of it and asking to stop scraping the gravel, the contractor spent the season relocating the gravel from the driveway to the lawns. I did not realize the amount until the snow has melted! This contractor made an explicit effort to place the gravel into the neighbors' ditches as well. How, you would ask. It was fun to watch - by inhaling some amount into the snow blower and barfing it up into the ditch". At the end of the season they've sent a demand for an extra 15% charge for "extra snow". How ironic... I don't recall them ever giving back the money for "not enough snow" though.BTW

We had Advance Landscaping for the 1st time for the 2016-2017 season & their service was excellent. They always returned after the plow had passed & a couple of times, during a heavy snowfall they came 3 times. I would recommend them to anyone looking for snow clearing service.

I have been using Advance for 10 years. They have done a good job growing with the demand and maintaining responsive service. Yes, there has been the odd morning where maybe they didn't get there as fast as I would've liked, but that has only happened after a deluge. Overall I am super happy with the service.

With the large amount of snow that has fallen this Christmas season they have gone above and beyond to ensure my driveway has stayed clear. Pre-work (0530 AM) clearing and workday follow and tidy up. They have been taking care of our snow removal for four years and they are excellent!

Advance does our laneway and always does a too notch job. We never even hear them come by but wake up to a perfectly cleared drive.They even come back a second time after the city plow to get rid of the bank the city plow leaves.EXCELLENT!!!!
