How have I never been in this fab store until today? Super selection of assorted writing instruments from all of the best manufacturers and a stellar collection of greeting cards and other stationary materials including fancy Japanese papers. Helpful and friendly service.

We looked everywhere in Ottawa for just the right pen for a Christmas gift. We came into Paper Papier and were surprised by the vast array of pen and paper supplies! The staff was also super friendly and helpful.

Went for fountain pen ink. Lots of beautiful fountain pens, very kmowledgable staff. Beautiful cards, not the usual.

Paper Papier is a wonderful shop in the Byward Market, I often go here to find the best cards, lovely gifts and stationary. Definitely 5 stars to the shop, but beyond that, I'd have to give 5 starts to Fleurissant, the small and perfectly precious flower shop that is located inside the paper shop. Tamiko Yamane, the brilliant florist along with her team deserve great praise. They recently did all the flowers for my wedding, my bouquet, my husbands boutonnière, and many table centre pieces of different sizes. They were beautiful and perfect for the occasion and the season. Tamiko paid close attention to my needs and wants and found the perfect flowers! They were stunning and delicate, the perfect balance of what I was looking for. And her and her team were a delight to work with, I never felt pressured or dismissed like I did at other flower shops, or like I was getting ripped off, when other shops hear your looking for wedding flowers all of a sudden their prices sky rocket, or they judge you and don't think you can afford nicer pieces. I never felt this way at Fleurissant. With them I felt respected and confident that they could create what I wanted and they exceeded my expectations. It was my first gut feeling to go with them and I ended up shopping around and then came right back to them and I am so very glad I did. My guests loved the floral arrangements as much as I did. If you are looking for someone great to work with, someone who has a creative eye for elegance and beauty and what great arrangements of flowers can be, go see Tamiko and her team! Or even if you're just looking for a mothers day bouquet or something for your loved one or nice plant to take home, they have a wide range of house plants too! I have to stop myself getting one every time I go in there! Check them out if you're in the ByWard Market, you won't be disappointed!

Amazing place for stationary items. The calligraphy pens are amazing. This is my go-to place for calligraphy things :-) ❤️❤️

I completely love to pop in here from time to time, if only to browse the cards and postcards. They have a set of postcards you can cut out and build into small animals; so neat!Aside from cards they also house a hell of a selection of fountain pens and notebooks that are worth checking out if you're in the market for these things.All in all, great experience and friendly staff. I'll definitely be back!

What a great place! First visit today. Wide selection and such pleasant and helpful and knowledgeable staff. A terrific experience. Had a great time just buying a pen. Truly personalized service.

A large selection of cards in both English and French. If you are looking for a greater variety than at your local Shoppers, this is the place to go.

I always appreciate my visits at Paper | Papier when I'm in Ottawa. It reminds me more than 30 years ago when I was working at The Papery. Same beautiful upgraded items. Definitely a place to drop by! ❤️

Likes others have said, it's a beautiful store, the vibe is great and they have many things! They have beautiful paper, orgiami stuff, book making stuff, notebooks, calligraphy stuff (pens and inks), wax and letter stamps, cards, and even plants!Worth a visit.
