Mark and his team did a phenomenal job on our new Trex deck. We reached out at the start of the year to get quotes and found that Mark and Great Decks for Less were the most reasonably priced for the quality. They also got us in before the summer hit and held to the timeline. The team is efficient and cleaned up to where you wouldn't even know they were there. So hard working, even had some of the crew show up on the weekend to get it done. There was not much down time between the demo of our old and the start of our new. Our new deck is beautiful and we get so many compliments on it. It truly is an extension of our home. Looking forward to continued use in the years to come and the zero maintenance that comes with it. We've been recommending them whenever possibly. Thank you to Mark and the Team, we are very pleased!

Mark and his sons were awesome! We did have to wait a long time for construction to begin, but it was definitely worth the wait! They are true craftsmen and our new Trex deck is gorgeous! Really appreciated their flexibility when we asked for a few tweaks before construction began. The crew was very friendly and clean, and never impeded on our busy schedule. Now just waiting for warm weather so we can enjoy!

Overall I am a satisfied customer. The quality and workmen ship by Kyle and Josh was great. The owner could use a little help with customer service. I am just going to list out the pros and cons from my experience.Pros: I will start off by saying the two men that performed the work on my Deck, Josh and Kyle, did and excellent job! They took they time to make sure my existing structure was square and level before starting any installation of the new decking! My railings are solid as a rock! I would hire these two guys again in a heart beat. The owner was nice enough to replace one joist that I noticed was rotted after I did the tear out myself to save money. Also the owner and I had a little misunderstanding with what I was to tear out and I tore off a few boards I shouldn’t have so he replaced those for me as well.Cons: The owner Mark has a little problem with customer service. He wasn't very good at giving me a time line on anything. The other thing wasn’t exactly pleased with was the fact that the owner Mark who quoted me did not notice the deck wasn’t level, yet it took his guys around 6 hours to quart and level the deck. This resulted in my having to pay an additional portion for that Leveling labor. I would have been ok with the additional cost upfront because I knew the deck wasn’t level but it’s never fun adding cost after a contract is signed.All in all I would use these guys again!!Below are photos of before and after

Absolutely Horrible Experience! The owner assured me that he would be on the job everyday but never was and instead sent his unlicensed kid to do the job. He also told me he was going to set the deck height between 6-8 inches below the threshold of the door but I requested that it be the same elevation as the original deck.I never received a single paper document from this contractor. Instead, I was emailed a contract written in pencil which he had to rewrite in ink so I could print, sign, and email it back to him. I was never given a receipt for any of the payments I made, including the cash payment I was forced into making because he lost the check my bank mailed him.I contacted the owner after noticing his kid was building the frame too high but was told that was the plan. He then pulled his kid off the job for two days before texting me that his check never showed up. I ended up having to pay him cash in which I was never provided a receipt for, along with having to cancel the check, which he admitted to probably throwing away. His kid returned the following day and installed all the decking despite my disapproval of the deck frame height.The owner only came out to work on a section of fence, which I unfortunately also contracted him to repair for me. He set the first post about a foot out of line with the rest of the posts because the old post was set in cement and he was too lazy to bust it out. He told me I could move the post myself if I wanted it moved. He eventually moved it after I proved it was part of the contract.After having an independent home inspector look at the deck and being told it was too high, I told the owner he'll get his last payment after the deck is brought back down to where it should be. He is now suing me for the final payment.Avoid this contractor at all costs! He is nothing but a hack and extremely unprofessional!

We could not have contracted with a finer company to build our deck. Actually, instead of a company, we hired a great family. Mark and his sons did a great job from beginning to end. They were always friendly and professional. To give us a quote, Mark came on site to take measurements, discuss the scope of the project, and show us samples of materials to be used. It was a no pressure presentation. His quote was very competitively priced. They built the deck as though it was their own, with attention to detail and always kept the work site cleaned up. Mark suspended construction so we could have electrical work done before the ceiling was installed. All work was completed to meet or exceed building codes with the utmost craftsmanship. As can be seen in the pictures, the deck and stairs are beautiful. Mark and sons were a pleasure to work with and exceeded all our expectations. You could not hire better deck builders for your project.

Great Decks for Less is a great company to work with. After several quotes, we decided to go with Great Decks for Less because they were the most reasonable. They listened to our designed and was able to create a beautiful deck for our backyard. It was great experience that included excellent customer service, friendly workers, and fast results. Great experience from start to finish. Mark was responsive and thorough. Once things got rolling on our deck, they were out working daily (even the day after Thanksgiving!) to get it done. We can’t wait to enjoy our new deck! It was well worth the wait! Thank you for a stress free process!

Great Decks For Less did such an amazing job on our deck. They are a family owned company and were so professional, respectful and honest. We got numerous quotes for our deck and they came in at half the price with the same Trex products that everyone else were tryingto sell. Mark was so honest and never tried to upsell us or try to sell us on stuff we did not need. I would highly recommend Great Decks For Less!!!
