This has got to be the most greedy and unprofessional company I have ever dealt with in my entire life.Their workmanship is terrible! A friend went to close their house and it didn't even have garage doors. Stair ralings had scratches as if it was dragged through gravel. A window crank wasn't even attached to the window pane.How can you present this to someone and say it's finished and ready for closing? SMFH.When asked to fix the obvious defects, they simply responded with threats of losing their down payment/house and fines exceeding $60K if my friend didn't accept the defects and close on the house.I hope you find this review before you do business with these people. I close next year and I'm afraid of what I will be getting.BUYER BEWARE!!!

We purchased a new home in the mid 2018. We were in the phase one development in Dundalk. Initially there were mistakes with our home but they completely corrected all the mistakes before closing. Since the two and a half years, we have worked with customer service to correct all of the issues with our home. All of the customer service Representatives ( Jessica, Luisa, Charlie) were extremely courteous, professional and extremely helpful in completing all of the issues in a timely manner. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase of my new home from Flato and would highly recommend anyone thinking of purchasing a home from Flato.

Very Poor quality build. We have had two major leaks; one of them required our entire tile shower to be ripped out while water poured out of the light fixtures in the floor below. I understand that things happen sometimes, however, the stairs into our basement collapsed the other day while my husband was walking up them. It was then that we noticed they had only been held in place by TWO nails. No bracing, no screws; just two nails through the chipboard backing. They weren't even anchored to a stud. I'd say that goes far beyond a mistake"

Victoria in the decor center is the most professional, kind, and honest sales person I have ever met. We were so indecisive on a lot of things, and she sat down and thoroughly showed us all of our options. My favorite part was how honest she was (instead of just trying to sell us everything and anything), which made things so much easier with our final decisions. I can't wait to see our home come together! Thank you Victoria!!!!!

Never recommend this builderYes we bought a home with them. There are so many mistakes on the house. They charged us a lot of money for delayed closing but after closing only we found out that nothing had been fixed after PDI. We we are in this house for 6 months now. After I submitted h to e defects on Tarrion only they followed up with us. But still taking a lot of time to so minor things. And customer service is very poor. The site supervisor doesn’t even pick up the calls. Pay more money and get a good home.

I’m not sure if the popularity of preconstruction homes are getting to these builders. Components of the home is contracted out. The contractors ie kitchen (@cartierkitchenandbaths) do such a s****y job. There is a lack of communication with customer service. Buy homes from Flato at your own risk.

We moved into Flatos new subdivision in Dundalk. We are renters and our landlords told us when we moved in how horrible flato s building was. House was not put together very well at all. All caulking has to be redone, corner beads of the walls cracking, concrete floor in the garage is cracked and our garage door won't shut properly. They're also responsible for the snow removal of the sidewalks and numerous kids have slipped as well as adults have fallen on the ice and snow build up but if you only rent then don't bother calling them...we called to let them know how dangerous the sidewalks were and got the biggest attitude from their customer service rep" who told us we rent so they won't listen to us. Best stay away from this company

Excellent and reliable customer service! Donna and her team has gone above and beyond on numerous occasions to meet my requests. I can always count on them resolving any issues with my home. Their commitment to high quality service is greatly appreciated! Highly recommend Flato.

Terrible build quality. Built to just barely pass code and gain occupancy. Can hear everything through the walls and floors. Hot water issues that persisted for 2+months, and so on.Buy/lease a Flato developed property at your own risk.
