Armstrong The Mover (A Canada Moving Company)

UNPROFESSIONALHome depot contracts out their deliveries. My dishwasher arrvied four days late after having to call Homedepot twice when it missed the delivery dated. Home depot did confirm the outside contractor did have my item and would contact the delivery company to find out what was going on. The woman that called to set a delivery time had an additute, her voice tone was rude and condescending. When they did deliver my item they left it with out ringing the doorbell.

Delivery for our new fridge from The Home Depot was great. The two young fellows who came to deliver were very courteous, and knew what they were doing the woman who called was very nice and acommodated the delivery date for us so we wouldn't have to miss work. Thanks again!

Currently waiting on a delivery expected Dec 17th. No one has returned my calls. Looking at the other reviews, I don't have my hopes up that I'll be getting it anytime soon.

I ordered two appliances through The Home Depot both times delivered by Armstrong Movers both times broken. I also remember ordering a bedroom set from Sears in 2015 that was broken upon delivery with Armstrong Movers. I now ask who's delivering the appliance or furniture before ordering. If Armstrong's delivering forget about it. I'll opt to pick it up.

My mom used this company to move from Southern Ontario to Thunder Bay. Not only did many things get damaged, no one had bothered to respond to our many voicemails. On the delivery date, they couldn’t be bothered to read instructions that items were being delivered to two separate addresses. This is the fundamental problem of prepaying for a service before it happens. I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS COMPANY.

I had a tv delivered that needed to be sent back (at no fault of the delivery service). The store contacted Armstrong to have a new one delivered at a rush in order to have it in time for an event on the weekend. Armstrong contacted me directly to move up the date as they had an opening, and we got our replacement earlier than expected! Very happy with my experience!

Very happy with the service.Good value for money.Was a pleasure to deal with Steve.Straightforward about costs and timelines both of which were reasonable and adhered to.Steve also helped with the transportation of car through Hansen which also was reasonable and timely.Household goods were picked up with care and delivered with no damage.Loaders were also very helpful and pleasant and went out of the way to help set up the house as desired when delivering.

I usually pick up my own appliances but decided to give Armstrong a chance. And boy did the deliver...no pun intended. They kept me updated as to delivery dates, called me when they were in route, very friendly and professional staff from delivery guys to nicole who handled our deliveries dates and phone calls back and fourth. every time. Great job guys and gal.

I ordered a washer through Home Depot. Delivery date was scheduled for July 27th but received no update from Armstrong. I tried calling over 5 times that day and left a message but my call was never returned. I reached out to Home Depot about the issue and they were unable to reach Armstrong either and left messages. 4 days later (calling every day) I finally got through and all they could tell me was that they had not received the washer yet. I finally received an update over 1 week past the scheduled delivery date. I was told the delivery would be the following day between 12-4 and that we’d receive a call 30 minutes prior to delivery. I received no updates from Armstrong on the scheduled date and they never arrived to deliver the washer and of course the office was closed so there was no way to contact them. Very unimpressed with their customer service and reliability.

5 stars all around... Jordie was incredibly helpful and professional. We had a lumber delivery mixup and he was able to straighten it all out in less than 24hours. Thanks again !
