We were seated fairly quickly. 10 minutes passed before anyone came to take our order. Another 20 before we received water. Food was out another 15 minutes later. My daughter had pasta which she said was bland. I had salmon with a whiskey sauce topped with shredded potatoes. Salmon said it was oven baked and pan seared. Salmon was cooked but it was very obviously precooked and then reheated as it was cold throughout. Flavor was meh. Server was pleasant and polite. I'm guessing they were understaffed as she was run off her feet and things took some time getting to us. For the meal we received I would say it was very overpriced. Just a 3 out of 5 for me. Most points going to the friendly waitress and pleasant surroundings. Food could definitely be improved upon.

Changing my review because of the effort I have just seen put out by the staff here for our booked Christmas party of the Defenders motorcycle club last Saturday night. There was 26 of us and the level of service was remarkable, they went out of their way to make it a very enjoyable and yummy evening, apparently even setting up a Christmas tree for us to lay presents under, providing some awesome appetizers to start the evening, and special pies brought in for dessert to finish things up. The entire menu was available to order from and the presented food was delicious and I didn't hear one complaint from anyone. We had a fantastic time and would like to thank the management and staff for making us feel festive and welcome.Highly recommended.

Overall good with some exceptions.The interior is well kept and nicely decorated with vintage goods. The layout is relatively well spaced with respect to seating.Prices are overall good for the portions and food.We ordered 2 mains one chicken Alfredo and a wrap combo.The pasta was spot on, good flavor, good portion, overall a well done dish.The wrap combo was a bit meh. The wrap itself was good, good filling bit a bit heavy on the Mayo. The soup was surprisingly bland given its pretty vibrant color. I couldn't tell what kind of base it was until I fished out some beef. The salad was well assembled and tossed but we did encounter an issue where we were seated without cutlery and it took the server a significant amount of time to return to ask for a fork to consume said salad.Another point there was a lot of sub menus around, along with the regular menu we had the specials menu, then to our side we had a seasonal lobster one, a date night" menu

Had an amazing dinner here while traveling through from out of town. We were served by Sheila and her recommendations were perfect! Food portions are large and filling, pasta is a little overcooked but not more than you'd expect at this price point as pasta is pre-boiled and then reheated, good quality tasty sauces, fresh salads and fresh bread more than make up for it. Overall great family dining experience.

My experience here is not a good one, first off, we waited almost 2 hours for our order and when my sons step mother asked how much longer, the woman at the reception booth was very very ignorant. After that the woman came with salads for us but still with much attitude she threw them in front of us. There were people that came after us but got there orders before us. When we finally got our food, some of it was not fully cooked and they were very small portions. Our server was a very kind wonderful woman and gave the kids free chocolate milk and extra appetizers, that was the only good experience in the restaurant. Needless to say we will never eat there again. My sons dad drive hours to bring his fiance, me, and our children out for mother's day and had to drive 5 hours back home after having to wait that long and not very good food.

My girlfriend and I rode around to Advocate harbour today, and stopped into Frank & Gino’s for a late lunch.The food was great if a bit more pricey that I was happy paying a lunch meal, but the service was fantastic and I really enjoyed the Greek salad we substituted for French fries.We shared our meals, while each of us enjoyed an Italian soda, and I agreed with Caroline that the donair sandwich was lovely but would have benefited from a side of donair sauce for dipping.I’m looking forward to sampling more of their menu in the future.

We had a great time, the lunch special was delicious. I had the Chicken Carbonara and my Husband had Nonna's lasagna. Both were amazing. The best part though was the staff, the two ladies working were so lovely and made for an exceptional visit. It was our first visit but it wont be the last. Thanks so much!
