Ian and his team were great. They removed a hazardous tree from our yard in a controlled and safe manner, and left the site very clean afterwards. Ian himself is clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about trees and was able to offer a lot of helpful information, which made me very comfortable picking him for the job. 100% recommend!

Ian and his team did an incredible job with the removal of some rather challenging trees that fell in our backyard during last year's storm. They carried out the work safely and with a lot of care in maintaining the privacy and overall aesthetic of our backyard. Ian is very knowledgeable and provided many suggestions on how to care for our trees. They also did some cabling to help protect one of our largest trees. You can trust this team to do a great job!

Although I decided not to cut down my tree, I still highly recommend Urban Tree Work. Ian is a very knowledgeable and honest business owner. He came to assess the situation of my tree. He didn’t push to sell his service. In fact, he patiently explained the situation and provided alternative solution to save my tree. It is difficult to find professional and honest services these days. I will certainly keep his contact for future work!!

I have several trees on my property that have been regularly trimmed and maintained by a number of different arborists over the past eight years. Ian from Urban Tree Works was the first arborist that ever discussed the importance of cabling & bracing my silver maples to ensure their longevity and the future safety of the trees. While others suggested the removal of the trees, he made it his priority to maintain the tree’s integrity and health.Ian and his team are experienced, professional and most importantly, maintain exceptional communication skills throughout the planning process of their work.Looking forward to working with them again soon!

Hired Urban Tree Works in 2022 to trim our large maple and clean up a large number of dead branches. In 2023 we just weathered a large ice storm without dropping a single branch. Great work!
