Excellent classy restaurant on the 4th floor of the Ainsworth Hotsprings resort. Amazing view of Kootenay Lake. Be prepared, restaurant closes between 4 and 5 most days, and reservations are required after 5 (though last minute reservations are accepted if space is available and will be during off peak times). Every dish my partner and I tried was prepared with care and delicious - bannock appetizer, hot springs salad with trout, duck breast, creme brulee, mixed berry cheesecake, reuben, and caesar salad. Last two were the next day for a late lunch. Hearty, filling food. The duck breast stole the show - rich and flavourful. Also offered a flight of all 4 local beer on tap to get a taste of everything and the bartender mixed up a fancy Sunrise off menu for me - met my sweet criteria. Also breakfast is great with many amazing options. The avocado toast with egg whites and fruit side was a lighter option, but still filling. Bannock pancakes are deep-fried, kind of like fritters and my partner didn't need syrup (came with berry compote and whipped cream).

Absolutely wonderful food, and our server Rebecca was delightful. Overall a great experience, and the desert (a double chocolate chip cookie sundae!) was decadent. We also had a great view of the pools! 10/10 experience.

Excellent food! We had the chicken burger with leek chicken soup, the Kale Quinoa salad with Steelhead trout & the veggie burger with a Caesar salad. They were all delicious. Our appetizer was Bannock with an old Cheddar spread which was also very good. Service was great and fast. I would definitely eat here again. Reservations are required though.

Good place to stop by to get some brunch after relaxing in the hot springs. They had some chef specials: bannock & duck pate liver. Glad we got to try it before they took it off the menu! Server was attentive and knowledgeable about the area. Gave us good suggestions.

Excellent meal catered for gluten and other allergies. Marissa provided friendly, efficient service. The restaurant served champagne to toast our 54 Anniversary! How can you ask for anything more?We highly recommend.

I have nothing but good things to say about our experience here. All of the food was absolutely delicious. The duck was my favorite, super tender and moist. The server was right about this chef being one of the few people who know how to cook duck well. The seafood pasta was tasty too. I'm usually not a fan of pesto based sauces but this one was really good and the shrimp and scallops were fresh too. Our server was a gentlemen who had a wonderful sense of humor made fantastic recommendations and was super attentive. His name tag only said FT and I didn't catch his name, but he definitely played a big part on why we had such a good experience. 100/10! Would recommend and would do again!

5 stars all around!I was a single walk in diner with no reservation. I was hungry and driving through town, I was so happy they still seated me and took my food order 15 minutes before kitchen closing! The hostess even gave me a beautiful window seat and my waiter did an amazing job checking in and even offering some light conversation.I ordered the bannok with the beer & herb cream cheese dip, the pasta special with smoked wild boar sausage & prawns, for dessert I finished with the most decadent wild blueberry cheesecake.

Love it here, always a place I come to visit when I'm in the area. We had the onion soup, dip of the day, and the Chicken burger. It's so delicious here, everything always tastes fresh. And this time we were lucky to see the Chefs picking some fresh herbs/ greens. I'd definitely recommend this place.P.s get back the smoked turkey sandwich ugh best turkey sandwich we've ever had and can't find a contender! Anywho besides the point! Great place to go !
