Columbia Factory Store

Just left Columbia for the 2nd time this week. Got an incredible light weight coat, warm omni heat, for 67$. Down from $157. Loved it so much that I took my daughter there today to get one for her, which we did. Super helpful staff, great deals, bring winter on!!!!! I forgot to mention the parking is ample, so close to the 401 exit. The store is organised, clean and spacious.

Bought winter boots here years ago and got them at a vg price but they finally bit the bullet last winter. Just bought a new pair here today and paid less than the last pair for what seems like nicer boots and they were cheap too! The guy at the store says they were discounted (from an already discounted price) for being “imperfects” … there’s no obvious defects so hopefully they’ll last, but at less than $50, they would have to die a quick death to not be worth the cost!

If you bought a Christmas gift here, better make sure it fits. Won't exchange for a different size. Not looking for a refund. And people wonder why retail stores are dying.

This is no longer the Columbia that we knew as kids, where you could buy quality products and the company would stand by them.They no longer have any way to deal with brand-new defective items. If an identical replacement isn't in stock, they can't order it in or substitute a near-equivalent. After enough tries you might find a manager who can issue store credit (not all can or will).It's possible to use that credit at the online store, which is better stocked. But if there's any glitch (and there will be; the online cart is buggy and confirmations sometimes don't match the cart) then customer service can't stop or change the order; you just have to wait for it to ship and try to get them to refund it again.This chain used to be so good. It's painful to see them falling apart on basic business processes.

Really good experience. I bought a pair of winter boots of very good quality and price. This store has a good variety of products.

I'm not really sure what it is with all these Columbia stores, but it just seems like whatever one I go into to shop, staffs are never really friendly or they're complete ignorance. Yes, they will help and greet other customers but when people like myself nor of difference ethnicity, we just feel uncomfortable shopping there nor we get the service we require. Especially the younger staffs at this location, they're just busy with whatever they're tasking and just walk right on by you without saying a word. Great customer service there.

This outlet store in Kingston has a comprehensive selection of Columbia products for the entire family and every season. The prices are quite attractive and there are also good sale and even some acceptable clearance selections. The jackets range from purely casual to somewhat formal styles. I have purchased an automn jacket and sneakers here and quite satisfied with the purchase. Would definitely be back and recommend to family and friends.
