Final Pass Pro Shop

I have had a single experience with Final Pass Pro Shop and it was extremely negative. In the first place, they were very poorly equipped to meet the demand. Although there were probably under 30 people in line, we waited for over an hour. One reason for this is that they have single person handling skate rentals, returns, and sharpening. Another is that they were running out of skates and had to wait for some to be returned before they could rent them again.That in itself wouldn't be so bad. What is worse is that after waiting in line for over an hour, the lady in front of us was informed not only that they could not process debit/credit cards, but also that they were out of change and had to close for 5-10 minutes. She told the employee working there that he should have informed people in line that the debit/credit machines were out of order.At this point, the employee became very defensive and told her that he had been telling people all along, which was blatantly false. She told him that they should have put out a sign. This is, in fact, what any responsible person in his position would have done. Instead of apologizing for the error, he very rudely asked her, Well

It says on their website that they are open until 10:00 pm. We went there at 8:00 pm and he told us that they are closing right now because they didn’t have sells today. Never going there again. Don’t waste your time borrowing skates from them.

Had a great experience with the skate rentals! The staff there was friendly and helped me to find the right size and they also did a skate sharpening for my friend too which didn't take long it was pretty quick and they did a great job with it my friend had no complaints, however they only accept debit at the time but due to covid that is understandable and not a big deal.

Trash costumer service and broken skates was given. Sharpening skate there is fast and good tho

Great little rental/ skate sharpening shop, friendly staff who do there best to help with whatever questions u may have, love that they had all sizes for the whole family, would definitely recommend this place to all family an friends an will definitely be going back ☺️

Terrible job, my and my kids' skates were literally more dull after they were serviced. Unfortunately, we had a ringette game right after and my daughter fell repeatedly due to the skates sliding sideways across the ice.

Absolutely shameful experience! Paid $15 to rent a pair of skates that was broken, and the guy knew it.When he passed then to me he said “sorry about that velcro part, and uhhh, the laces...”. Five minutes into skating I realized what he meant: the laces didn’t go all the way up, and the velcro to lock in the ankle was broken, too.I was given one working skate that fit beautifully ...and one that you couldn't actually lace up, or tighten up past the third eyelet hole.Less than 15 minutes after renting these skates I went and asked for a refund, or a new pair of skates that wasn’t broken.His response was “I guess that’s what you get when you rent, right?” Um, no, not really? That’s not what you get when you rent. When you rent, you expect to...rent a product that is in working condition.I saw many people happily renting skates, so your mileage may vary. But for me, the whole experience felt like a total scam.

Overall very enjoyable experience. The young man who helped my family and I was so kind and the rental process was very simple. I will keep coming back whenever we’re in the city!
