I simply asked for a breakdown of line items of work and charges on my account and they simply didn’t understand what I was asking.I emailed my (former) lawyer and asked for a call so I could simply explain what I needed and he said he’s too busy and I should take my company elsewhere.The point is I was trying to move my company and I was wondering what I was getting billed for and they can’t even tell me.Professionalism at this company was a disappointment.

Lawson Lundell has gotten too big for its britches primarily on forcing kids to be tax shields to the parents contrary to 245(3) of the Canadian Income Tax Act. They are hiding billions in avoidance taxes which could literally help pay our deficit. Someone please take these greedy corporate lawyers down as many of the tax issues they deal with have gone well past grey into black and white illegal tax avoidance"."

I have worked with Lawson Lundell for over 15 years and two companies. When I started my own company I got a recommendation for another law firm that specialized in startups, but came back to Lawson Lundell after a year as the other law firm just wasn't responsive, and emails would take 2-4 weeks to get an answer, if at all. I have been very satisfied with the service, and it's like a small law firm but with resources and specialists like a bigger firm.
