I normally don’t post opinions online but Duench contractors did such a great job on my interlocking walkway, I just had to.I’m a construction site supervisor and have been in this industry now for 17 years.I was impressed with Zak’s professionalism and attention to detail. He listened to all our ideas (my wife and I) and had excellent suggestions/feedback.We had quotes from 3 other contractors but I just had that “gut feeling” and felt most confident in Duench contractors to get the job done in a reasonable amount of time and done right and look amazing.Not to mention, that this job was done during the Pandemic, after the government had decided to make Lanscaping a part of the essential workers. Also in one of the hottest weeks of the summer (30+ degrees Celsius).I would recommend Duench contractors to anyone looking for a great landscaper.Our finished product is amazing and even the plants Zak suggested worked great!We get compliments on our front yard all the time!Thanks Zak Duench and team!

I cannot say enough positive things about Duench Contractors. Their attention to detail is unmatched. I deal with a lot of contractors through my work and have very exacting standards. John took the time to ensure their quote was accurate, and knew exactly how long the project should take and they came in on time and on budget. The entire team was outstanding. They are hardworking, contentious with an incredible attention to detail. The outcome was exceptional and we now have an outdoor living space that exceeded our expectations!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Duench Contractors. If you are looking for top quality products and workmanship, on time and on budget then Duench is the right choice. The only challenge is they are so busy, because they do such great work that you have to book them months in advance. John and Zak are the most honest individuals you will ever deal with. They have done 2 projects for us in our backyards at 2 different homes and both are without flaw years after completion. They are not cheap, but your get what you pay for and this company is worth the money, to know you are getting quality products, quality work and an honest contractor. You will be completely satisfied. Thank you John and Zak for all your excellent work, we truly appreciate it!! We used them in 2022, for a large deck rebuild with many add-ons.

Recently completed our third project in 25 years with Duench Contractors. Our retirement project included replacing a garage, landscaping, drainage, fencing and a new driveway. John and Zak are masters at their craft and the results far exceeded our expectations. The compliments flow whenever someone sees the changes for the first time. Wish I had done this project first rather than last. Our highest regards for the Duench team.

The communication throughout the whole project was just right. The team was very professional and handled some very challenging situations with the neighbour in a very calm and understanding yet firm, manner to come to a consensus on next steps. They worked hard and the finished product is just amazing. Everyone who walks by goes out of their way to comment on how great it looks. It looks better than what we expected. Well done and I would not hesitate to use Duench again for my landscaping needs. Thanks again for the landscaping make-over our property needed.

We have appreciated the workmanship quality from 3 generations of the Duench family over many years.More recently we had a deck re-built and a patio re-laid. Zak and brother Janson together with Wyatt had exacting standards and worked hard every day despite some unpleasant weather. We were delighted with the results including some improvements which we had not even thought of. We would recommend Duench Contractors to anyone wanting landscape construction of any description. They are pleasant to deal with and their work is excellent.

Duench installed a new interlocking-paver driveway for us, along with drainage and new sod. They did a marvelous job. Working with them was a pleasure. Everything went as expected. The work was completed on schedule and on budget, with no unpleasant surprises. I would happily hire them again.

Choosing a company to install an interlocking stone driveway is not something we do everyday. We wanted to make the right choice.When we spoke with Zak about our needs, he listened to our ideas then guided us through the pro's and con's of the different options and what would deliver the best results. We knew what we wanted to accomplish but it was Zak's input that really helped us in our decision making.The removal of the old concrete driveway, preparation of the base, and addressing the needs of the neighbouring yard was handled professionally. Their attention to detail, keeping us informed about what was happening, and the day-to-day execution, drew compliments from friends and neighbours. At the end of each day, Zak & Wyatt left a clean construction site. Their years of experience and pride in their workmanship was on display throughout the entire project - for about 2 weeks.The end result was everything we had hoped for and more. It is so much more accessible and beautiful now. People walking past our home regularly comment on how the driveway compliments the look of our home. The additional landscaping they did, really put the finishing touches on a stunning driveway that has actually surpassed our expectations.
