A lovely, bright space on Walton Street to share a coffee and a meal with friends. I had a cortado, and the espresso based drinks are totally on point. Can’t wait to try more of their menu items as I’m a huge fan of farm-to-table, seasonal and locally sourced food. This is one to keep an eye on! A welcome new addition.

Stopped for a latte, added a salad with smoked trout and didn’t realize it would be incredible! Made with such care and attention to detail/quality. It included onion blossoms, strawberries and scape on fresh greens.And the trout was perfect! Great spot and such wonderful creativity with fresh ingredients…kudos!!!

What an excellent place. Bright, elegant interior with welcoming staff. Excellent cappuccino (always my measuring stick for a great cafe). Couldn't decide on one sandwich so we tried a few and they were all delicious -- with, if I'm not mistaken, locally sourced ingredients. An absolute delight and a must-stop in Port Hope.

So enjoy lingering over coffee at The Main. The atmosphere is beautiful and calming, it’s the perfect place to read the paper, meet up with friends or grab a (delicious) quick bite. Great staff and coffee too! Highly recommend!

The coffee was so on pointSeriously some of the best I had, and I’m super peaky on my flat whiteI also tried their chocolate croissant… It was so good! Chocolate was soft and the pastry was super freshAt this point, if you love coffee, it’s a must stop if you’re on the highway

Just had the most incredible chicken salad sandwich! The atmosphere is super modern and warm. The entire space is super beautiful, with windows that look out on the main street in downtown Port Hope. Staff was super friendly and food came quickly even though they were pretty busy! Highly Recommend.

Lovely atmosphere.... decor, lighting make the ambiance welcoming and fresh. Food was delicious. Be sure to try the strawberry lemonade!
