Sugar Suite

I ordered my bridal shower cake here and I absolutely loved it. It looked almost identical to the reference photo I sent and was made beautifully. We got a ton of compliments on the flavours and people couldn’t believe that it was totally gluten free. We also ordered a few of their treats as favours for a few of our GF/nut allergic guests (cake pops, brownies, cookies) which were a huge hit as well. The staff was wonderful to work with and were so helpful. We made what felt like a dozen changes to our order and Pranami was so responsive, patient and accommodating with each modification. We’ve ordered our wedding cake from Sugar Suite as well and can’t wait to work with them again!

I had to contemplate whether to give a 3 or 4 star review. Felt Pranami was great with her communication, but the custom order was not the color as expected, and the cupcakes were more on the drier side and flavors were mild. The cupcakes looked beautiful and despite them not exactly the color I wanted, I would consider giving them a second shot for my next custom order.

Sugar Suite did an amazing job on our wedding cake in October 2022. We started out with a consultation with Liz where we talked through the design, colours, size and flowers to go on the cake. We had shared some inspiration photos of what we liked, and Sugar Suite totally nailed it! The flavours we selected for the three tiers (cinnamon bun, dulce de leche, cookies & creme) were delicious, and our guests loved it! As others have mentioned, you would have no idea it's gluten free. Highly recommend! Their other baked goods are so tasty too, and we love stopping by for treats anytime we're in downtown Oakville.

Don’t ever order a wedding cake from them. Horrible horrible service. They will send you an email days later and inform you that they are too busy to make it after you’ve gone through the process with the cake consultant. We are now left scrambling to find another gluten free bakery to make our cake.Response to the owner.You had actually confirmed in April that the date was available and confirmed with you and said that you would love to do our cake. We took the first available tasting that was available and went through designing a cake and offered to pay on the spot but was told that a quote would be provided first thing Tuesday when you opened because the person that provides the quote was out on delivery. The consultant thanked us for choosing your bakery to design and deliver our cake. We got an email 4:00 Tuesday to inform us that you were not able to make our cake. Perhaps moving forward you shouldn’t confirm orders you cannot fill. Not once were we under the impression that it’s first pay first serve. We were told once the quote was provided we could give a deposit. We feel like we were totally mislead.

I was looking for a cake for my wedding, I stumbled on the Instagram page of Sugar Suite and I absolutely fell in love with their cake designs and how delicious everything looked.I had an appointment with Liz to create my wedding cake, she was super knowledgeable and professional. Super easy to talk to and def helped bring my cake idea to life.Fast forward to the wedding day, the cake turned out beautiful and exactly how I imagined. It was delicious (we choose the strawberry cake). My guests loved it and so did my husband:)I would recommend if you were in the market for a wedding cake or just wanted to eat some tasty cinnamon buns :p

Our wedding cake was not only beautiful but delicious! We had a layer of white chocolate raspberry and 2 layers of caramel macchiato. Both flavours were moist and very flavourful. I recommend working with Sugar Suite for your wedding cake needs. The staff were very friendly, quick to respond, and helpful.

Whenever there is a special occasion (or frankly, just need a pick-me-up) I always go to Sugar Suite even though I don't have any allergies. Whenever they have sugar cookies, I ALWAYS go for those because it's like eating a buttery cloud. I wouldn't say that the textures are *exactly* the same as traditional treats, but they totally hold their own.Everyone who works there is an absolute gem and Kenzie puts so much thought in care into her business.People who are complaining are clearly entitled and we don't need them terrorizing our lovely little lakeside town and our small business owners.

Always the best experience with sugar suites. Go here at least twice a month. My favourite flavours are cookies and cream and Nanaimo

We had the best experience with Sugar Suite in Oakville. Kenzie and Liz were incredibly organized and professional, and made the whole process so easy for us as we were planning our wedding from the UK. We can’t rave enough about how easy the whole process was - from the initial phone call to discuss the details, to arranging our tasting for when we could enter the country (during covid times) right until the special day. My mother is celiac and we had one other guest who was as well so it was super important to us to have any worries of cross-contamination so it was the perfect place to order from. The cake was absolutely delicious - we went with lemon and strawberry! All our guests loved it, and they designed the most beautiful sugar flowers that looked so realistic.. I now have these on display and get so many compliments on them. We can’t wait to taste our top tier that we’ve frozen to have on our anniversary!
