Best Western Peace Arch Inn

I needed to visit a friend seeing at the Peace Arch Hospital. I didn't have a car. This was walking distance to both the hospital and Morgan crossing shops. Rooms were clean and the people were incredibly friendly. Breakfast was a little lacking but did the job.

Not the best I have seen from from Best Western, Dirty, damaged in room jacuzzi, (I let the staff know) the main floor still under renovations in hallway. I did enjoy the breakfast in the mornings with a choice of pancakes, toast, cereals, yogurt, muffin or bagel and fresh juices like apple orange, cranberry. King bed is nice and seemed to have clean sheets but was very squeaky and firm. I took advantage of the ice maker and it too was optimal. Outside there is a wooden gate that occasionally bangs due to the wind and a broken latch (I let the staff know) close too the room we stayed in.Edit: hope you enjoy barking dogs at 6am in the morning, this was a no pets when we arrived but that seems to change at the whim. The room across hall from us 109 has 2 or 3 dogs in it and beloved to be smoking in there room. Im a non smoker and that door is where the strongest smell is coming from (multiple people were at the desk telling the staff) but nothing was done. As for the pool they rent it out to teach children for outside the hotel to swim as far as I can tell during ALL the week days. I will never stay here again.

Pool had swimming lessons in it and we were unable to use it. While hotel was under mass renovations and the paint smell was super strong. Half out party had to leave due to severe allergies and hotel wouldn't refund our stay. Not a pleasant experience at all.

We enjoyed our stay there, The service was great, front desk and the cleaning staff were both very helpful, great customer service. Our room had all new fresh look, I loved the carpet less flooring in cleaning prospective. Our Room was clean, we will recommend this place and will definitely stay there again.Our room was clean. The stay was ok, my room smelled musty like the window should be opened for a couple days to air out. The food for the breakfast was raw and inedible. I complained about it and was told it's cooked and that they all eat it every day. You can clearly see from the picture it's properly thawed, and not much more heat than that was added. The hot tub has more heat in it than these sausages have ever seen.

The experience was exceptional from the start to finish including front desk all the way to housekeeping. All the staff was very professional, polite and always greeted me and my family with a smile. I would highly recommend this Best Western to anyone looking for an amazing experience with lots of things to do since this location is close to pretty much anything such as White Rock Beach, Shopping, Eateries, Movie Theatre and very close to the both Peace Arch and Pacific Crossing Boarders.

Peace Arch Best Western was lovely. There was always friendly employees around to help, cleaning, restocking etc.I was hoping to be close to White Rock Beach, have a vacation with beach vibes and this location ticked that box!The complementary breakfast had so much variety and delicious, never eaten so many pancakes in one week.Highly Recommend.

Everybody complains about the breakfast. The sausages are slightly different now but the hashbrowns are the same. It would be a LOT better if they would cook them in a oven of sorts instead of just a microwave. The hashbrowns are very mushy and not enjoyable, if they would cook them in an oven they would have a little crisp and be 1000% better. The general manager keeps responding to people's reviews with his phone number and saying to call if you have problems but they never change anything that people complain about. The sausages and hashbrowns were the same when we were here a year ago. The rest of the breakfast selection is good, there are some cereals, muffins, toast, hard boiled eggs(cold) but still ok, there is a pancake machine and my kids like the pancakes. There are single serve syrups, butter, peanut butter and one flavor of jam(strawberry). There is also some Activia yogurts, some just add water oatmeal and apples + oranges. There are 4 kinds of juice: apple, orange, lemonade, and cranberry. There is coffee and hot chocolate. Only one kind of tea bag red rose orange peko but there is a different kind of tea for the Keurig in the room.The rooms aren't too bad, I was surprised to have a microwave in the room. The bed was a bit firmer than I like but manageable. There seems to be a bit of renovation that's not finished (some trim missing aroundthe elevator door, pretty minor stuff). And I'm not sure they have renovated every floor. Last year we were on the first floor this year we were on the 3rd. The room was clean, the location is good. Will probably end up staying again.They do let someone do swim lessons in the pool but they are happy to let you use half the pool while they do the lessons in the other half. It was my wife and I with 2 kids staying at the hotel.

They were doing a lot of renovations while we stayed. The elevator was out of use and we we’re on the third floor and had to carry our luggage down the stairs. Had some heavy bags for us so was a bit awkward. The bed was extremely soft for me too and woke up with a sore back after a night of tossing and turning. Not sure why this hotel and others have moved to having square pillows but I can’t say I’m a fan of them either. Nice location, close to US border. Likely will be in better shape once the renovations are complete.

We would like to thank Sav and his staff for their hospitality. My partner and I recently drove from the California Bay Area to White Rock, Canada, and were very pleased by the rooms as well as the courteousness of the staff. Please note that some but not all rooms are pet friendly, as the hotel accommodates both pets and those with allergies.
