Friendly owner and bright clean restaurant. Gladly allow me to use their spotless rest room before their open time and kindly point me to their cute post office nearby. And when I wrote post card in my car with door open, kindly came around to check if I am OK. Such homecoming feeling Will definitely come try their ice cream in the future.

This place is awesome! Everything I've tried is delicious, especially the Chicken Parmesan. The owners are super friendly and the prices are reasonable. They also have great take and bake meals!

An adorable little cafesque Rustic Italian resto and icecream shop in little Rennie MB. A hidden treasure that opened in May 2022. Bought icecream in way home from camping- owner said kids don't pay - his daughters rule. We will be returning for the delicious smelling food.

Just had an amazing lunch at Mama Joe’s.. I wish I would have taken pictures so you could all share the experience … but now you’ll just have to head to Rennie, MB and have your own palate pleasing experience.Our group of four dined on perfectly (in my husbands words) al dente pasta/gnocchi/sangwhich.The pasta of the day was a garlic mushroom pesto gnocchi that was to die for. The flavours were never ending. The new restaurant boasts a family friendly environment with a painting station for the kids to keep them occupied while they wait for their meals. As well, there is a takeout freezer that lets you grab and go.Don’t miss out on the best Italian “home cooked” meal this province has to offer.Glad to see you back in the kitchen Joe!!From one happy returning customer and three new “for sure” returning customers.

This is a hidden Gem located in Rene MBJoe is an amazing chef. No matter what you order, the custom sauces and great selection of meals will make you want to go to the freezer and take home pre-cooked meals with you.Joe grows all his own herbs to make his sauces, and they are simply amazing!!The restaurant itself is a copy little building with a great atmosphere. Joe himself is a great character, full of stories.As mentioned, Joe has a Freezer where you can get most of his menu frozen and ready to heat up at home.A definite must go, worth the trip from winnipeg.

2022/09/22 Outstanding food and service. I had the chicken parmigiana with a side salad. The chicken parmigiana did not have any pasta which was nice and included a reasonably size slice of toast. The restaurant is busy due to the limited hours so arrive about 30 minutes early. The price was also reasonable. It is a very nice option to have in Rennie and the Whiteshell.

My wife and took the hour long drive to Rennie on Sunday night because we had heard so many rave reviews about Momma Joe's Italian Eatery there. It was well worth the drive and the reviews we had read were bang on. The food is very authentic Italian and fabulous! I had a Crazy Sicilian" pizza and my wife had one of the Specials of The Night
