College of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador

This is a bit of a tricky one to rate, nurses in general are awesome individuals who deal with a lot of stress every day. Overworked, underpaid and underappreciated nurses in this province deserve so much more. Most of you women and men deserve a five star rating. That being said the problem comes in when a nurse refuses to treat a patient just because she/ he doesn't want to which is a violation of Human Rights. Everyone, no matter what their background or social class has the right to medical attention but it seems some nurses believe they are above these values.To the great nurses out there keep up the hard work and your dedication to treat everyone with respect. You are all for sure a special kind of person to deal with everything you have to every day!!
