None of the staff speaks english!!!!! I had hard time explain them what I want on french! Even french was not easy for them to understand! Very weird for a city with so many tourists!

The staff no gloves no hairnet. One time touch the cash and one time run in kitchen. After ate my burger, I have a bad stomach pain that never happened. I recommend to not go at this place.

Our cashier name was Miranda... AMAZING AMAZING service!!!! She took her time to explain the menu to us and recommended items as well.... She did an amazing job! Great burgers and love the fries!!!

As fast food chains go they do a really good burger - more akin to a restaurant burger. Will certainly go again.

Food was good and hot. One point off for dirty dining area (wrappers on the floor, spilled ketchup at the condiments station, I had to clean my own table). Another point off for awful bathroom. Another point off because a manager publicly admonished an employee severely and loudly. I didn't take a point off, but staff leaned toward speaking English instead of French.2023-05-05: returned today after previous visit (above) and was served cold fries.

Went there with my grandson who wanted a poutine, which was ok but small, IMHO compared to cantines, but here in Old Montreal, everything is expensive. Their rent probably is too!! I had a Teen Burger trio which was good and as I expected it to be. Clean restrooms. Very little parking in that area and expensive. Better take bus and metro.

Worst A&W I’ve ever been. Poor service and burgers. Personal is not qualified. Onion rings are a joke! Generally chipotle mayo is always free. Here they charge for it. Somebody please talk to the supervisor in charge on Sunday March 14 at 12:30 pm

We are here during the hottest day in the summer and they are giving away free root beer :)On root beer day:)The staff are friendly and courteous and it is very close to all the Major attractions in the old cityIf you like this post give me a thumbs up

To start with, I am a regular customer of A&W, first impression the floor is sticky everywhere (tells you something about their cleanliness), I asked the code for the toilet after ordering saying that I need to wash my hands before eating, and they said that the men's room was closed and that I would have do go to the ladies' room, the burger was given to me with the top of the bun out of the bag, I asked that they send it back to the kitchen, to fix this, and the cashier gave me the look that you give to a fussy customer, took the can and shook it for the bun to come back on the top of the burger, and gave it back to me; I was also given fries to go on a platter even though specified it was for here (not to go). I went out of my way to come here and left disgusted, I had to go wash my hand at a neighbor store after eating.
