SVP Sports - Scarborough

Really like this store, lots of options for both adult and children's clothes. They had full on NHL jersies with names for 15 bucks for kids or less. They also are one of the rare stores that have youth turf soccer shoes an essential for playing on uh... turf. the staff are friendly and engaging as well and their online marketplace and ship to store is helpful.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Though a rather small selection of safety shoes for men (even less for women) and not the type I wanted. I'll try again later. Tidy store and good prices though.

I bought my cleats and my shoes for graduation here! They're really high quality and comfortable! I recommend u buy shoes and any other gear here!

This isn't a review for the Scarborough store specifically but SVP brand itself. Google only allows me to review specific stores so I had to pick one. I'm from BC and had never heard of SVP before, we don't have this store here but it kept coming up in my search as I was trying to find a Messi soccer ball for my son. Initially I was quite taken back by the low prices of many of the items and not knowing anything about SVP I questioned is this legit? is this like a Winners, Ross, TJ Maxx? After quick research it was clearly a legit website with many stores across Ontario. Like I said prices were amazing. Got a Vancouver Whitecaps jersey for $30, a Canada soccer jersey for $15 among other things. No way I could have found those prices anywhere not even close. Items shipped in a timely manner out to BC. I have zero negative things to say and would not hesitate to shop from SVP again.

I’ve been going to this store quite often and sometimes they do have some good collection and sometimes nothing much but the prices are really good also I’ve bought things from here such as shoes, bag etc and they hold up very well as well so quality is definitely good in my experience. The staff is nice and friendly as well.

I walked by the store attracted by different brand names sport wear. Wanted to check it out. I was stopped by the front door person. She asked me to leave my backpack with her before she let me in. I explained to her that my backpack was my wallet and credit card. She could easily see the size of my backpack was small, but she said she couldn't let me in.Why would the store wanted to take away my bag which I had my wallet and credit card in there. Would the store liable if things got missing inside my bag?! Next time if I visit the store I would bring s different purse.

I had a wonderful sales associate named Abigail who was just the best! She really took the time to help me and find what I was looking for. Also the store was very clean and organized. Great service all around.

Terrible online customer service.Sorry if this is posted in the store level but I ordered two pairs of shoes and they sent the wrong size on one of them. When I went to contact them to let them know - they ask for pictures for verification and then they will check with their distribution centre to see what happened - making it sound like it was my fault? Not even an apology for sending the wrong shoe and accusing me of saying in my initial response I said both sizes were wrong (which I did not) and that is not even the point. I just need running shoes for my daughters school program and they sent the wrong size - mistakes happen but they did not sound like they were owning up to their mistake and even accusing me for asking for photos. What benefit do I get from lying about the wrong size? Only more inconvenience of having to go to a physical store to do an exchange now with poor customer service.

They sell knockoffs and are extremely unprofessional.I rarely put any negative review but this time I had to do it.I bought Puma shoes 4 days back and asked the sales guy specifically to give me the UK size 8.5, but he gave me US size 8.5. (US size is smaller)I came back home, did not realize the size was different until I tried the shoes and walked for 5 minutes outdoors. I immediately came back home and packed it back in its original packaging to exchange it.When I went to exchange it, they did not accept the return and said I wore it and that there was some color on the shoe. I found it surprising as I had been wearing Puma for 15 years now, and original Puma shoes never bleed color.The manager named Harshal told me that they can't accept the return and told me if the shoes are uncomfortable I can sell it on Kijiji or throw it in the garbage.Never visiting again or letting my friends visit this place as it's just like wasting your time and money here.
