Canalta Hotel Lac La Biche

Our travel was both a business and a family trip. It was nice staying in your hotel. Quiet clean and staff is very accomodating and friendly. Breakfast was ready and presentable.

The hotel smells nice and very clean. Reason why I deducted 1 star is because although the washroom and the whole room was clean, there were some mold in one area of the shower glass. It could use a new sealer. Overall though it was great! The staff were super welcoming and helpful. Will stay again!

Pretty average hotel. And I mean that in a good way. It's what you'd expect at the price. Decent rooms. Decent service. Decent breakfast.Don't expect to be entertained here. It's just a decent place to stay and get a good night's sleep between spending your days enjoying the outdoor activities Lac La Biche offers.Eg the TV is decent, but the cable package is very basic with mostly Detroit, Chicago, and Los Angeles TV stations and some basic cable channels.On the plus side, you can easily connect your laptop or Samsung DeX device to the TV HDMI input and get some work done in your room without having to use the business centre" PC's.Staff were friendly. Rooms were clean. Price was fair.If that's all you need

Hotel staff friendly and rooms very clean, just would like to mention the parking lots. Me and my girlfriend were coming back from supper at the Fat Unicorn when I parked at the hotel parking lot (entry side close to handicap) I got out I slipped and smacked my back and head off the skating rink that’s called a parking lot. I informed staff about this immediately. I leave the next morning extremely sore and heading to parking lot to see it’s not salted. I can handle the fall but people that are old and staying at your location could easily be hurt or killed. Otherwise great stay and really clean rooms.

Hotel was clean and overall I enjoyed the stay. Breakfast had a lot of choices including a hot breakfast.

When we first arrived the room looked very clean except for there was food left in the fridge. When we opened the fridge it It made the whole room smell awful . The front staff were amazing. They moved us to a new room with lots of space. Very clean.The Jets and the hot tub did not work and it wasn't very clean. Overall it was a great stay everybody was very helpful and kind.

Loved the incredible service, the room was beautiful and so clean. Perfectly dark bedroom, a comfortable bed, and air con gave me my best sleeps in a long time. Jacuzzi tub was heavenly. Room was a bit pricey, but the area tends to cost a bit more than average as a whole.

I travel around Alberta for work and always enjoy my stays at the Canalta in Lac La Biche. The rooms are clean, staff is friendly and helpful. They have a great breakfast room with coffee and filtered water available 24 hours. Love the hot tub and steam room after a long day.

Stayed for a week of work and found the hotel was more than acceptable. Rooms were good, staff were good and the breakfast was standard.
