Horn Dawgs BBQ Pickering
Visited Pickering for the day from Brampton and this place is amazing for the price! They have quality meat and portion size is perfect for the price paid. Personally I’d want more beef in the beef brisket, but I’ll ask for extra next time I go and won’t mind paying a lil extra. They had a daily special $5 box of chicken and fries, i took it home and warmed it up in the air fryer and it was delicious! Also great and fast service, I’ll be coming back soon!

TLDR: The best fried chicken and beef brisket I've ever had!!Horn Dawgs is the only place I'll willingly eat white meat chicken and not cringe - the meat is moist and juicy, never dry!The brisket is also soft and delicious, my fave way to have it is actually without the BBQ sauce, (I don't like sweet savoury foods.) I've enjoyed it on it's own, brisket poutine, and brisket sandwich, all are fabulous and I highly recommend it to everyone. Hubby really likes the chili fries as well. Everything is done extremely well.

Someone needs to show this to every TURTLE JACKS RESTAURANT so they can learn what a BUFFALO CRISPY SANDWICH is Supposed to look like!!.. Well worth the drive or stop in on your way passing by..$13 for this massive sandwich and Fresh Cut Fries!!..Highly recommended!!

Delicious, but slow... I guess good food takes time. Amazing ribs, wings, pulled pork and brisket. The sides are great but very small.

Ordered Southern Fried Chicken and Fries.Good serving size.Chicken was hot and crunchy but soggy on one side.Fries were warm but soggy.My assumption was that the fries were ready for a while before the chicken and the chicken was put right on the fries before letting it rest.IMO the chicken and fries should be packaged separately to ensure freshness.Both chicken and fries were bland and virtually flavorless.Would not go back for fried chicken.

Daaaaaamn gooooooood!!! One of the best BBQ places to go to and just inside Pickering! Great prices, loads of food! Nice people there. We go often enough whenever the craving hits us. We did the two pigs and a cow sandwich, the 3 loaded tacos and the beef brisket poutine. Deeeeeestroyed all of it!!! Taste is just divine!! Nothing dry or hard at all! Texture, quality, amounts.... All good!!! We'll be back for sure!!!

Honestly would’ve gave this place 4 maybe 4.5 stars for the food if their service wasn’t so bad. Their ribs are cooked very well and with their large selection of flavours and sauces i can understand why they’re busy…But with soggy sides and wings sitting in a box while you wait for the rest of your order that was supposed to be ready 40 minutes prior, there is no going back.

It's been quite a while since I've been to Horn Dawgs, located next to the Pickering GO station. They're known for their tasty BBQ meats. This brisket was very moist and tender, with lots of flavour!I'll have to go back to try more of their offerings.
