My father placed an order for a bunch of needles for his machine and was they would call him when the order came. A month passed and he asked me to call and check. The order was never place and he behaved as if if was the first time he heard about this order. So no big deal I just asked if we could place the order again. He went into a big speech about how the needles didn't come in a bundle ect... Once again no big deal we'll take them how ever we can. I explained that I needed to translate everything to my father (he's deaf) and the moment I said that he hung up on me. When I called back and laughed about the disconnected call, he promptly said I have another customer" and hung up again. I was quite upset but waited an hour and tried to call again I explained I would like a price on my order and an wondered when it would be in. He then stated that I should shop somewhere else

The man in the store was extremely rude and nasty. He lost a part of my sewing machine but denied having the part. I ordered a new part but never received a call . He charged 100$ to tune up the machine, way over priced. I would never shop at this store again.

Bert was very friendly and was able to service my machine on extremely short notice. Called this morning and I am now walking out with my great grandmothers singer working perfectly. The price was beyond reasonable. Would give a 10/5 star if I could.

The customer service we received was like nothing I've seen,or received in my years! My mom needed a screw or bolt for her singer machine. The man gave it to her and refused to take cent. He was honest and said he had large amounts of spare parts the cost him nothing.

He definitely knows his stuff, but is a bit condescending when communicating. He spent maybe about 15 minutes fixing why the thread was snapping (sharp part of the pressure foot) and charged 45$. I wish he would have told me what the charge was beforehand.

Took my machine, which I had purchased here and previously had great service, for repair. After several months wait, picked it up with repair incomplete and the peddle had been lost! Owner/repair man promised to pay for the replacement. I found 2 sources, bought it from the least expensive one. After a few phone calls, he asked us to wait until he had the money, then offered to pay half, then refused altogether, hanging up the phone!

I went to try to get my sewing machine repaired in Ottawa, and I was told it was beyond repair and to leave it for scrap metal. I was dejected, but thought I’d give it another try. And Bert was the best! Within one day he had my sewing machine up and running, and even taught me how to use certain features I had not previously known how to use (With a very helpful fishing analogy)! 5 stars, the best!

My Mom left a sewing machine here almost a year ago and has yet to hear back from him. We keep leaving messages as we live out of town but no reply. Now the mailbox to leave messages has been full when we call.

I had a great experience here. I dropped off a machine and it was serviced and now back up to bar. The lady who received it was very nice and the man who I paid after it was finished gave me a detailed lesson on the operation of the machine as well he showed me a few other machines and what they can do. I had a good experience.

Discussing customer relations! We dropped off a sewing machine for repair on the 23 April. The first two times we phoned for progress we were told that the machine hadn't been looked at. The third phone call, May 8th, I asked when I could expect the machine to be repaired. I was told the following day 9th of May if not the day after 10th of May. We showed up on the 10th of May and was told that the machine still hadn't been looked at. We were desperate for the machine so we told them that we would take it without the machine being looked at. We were told that we would not be getting our deposit of $84.75 refunded even though they hadn't even looked at the machine. He pointed to an obscure sign which blended in with the clutter of the store which he said gives him the right to keep deposits even though no work was done even though he promised it two days prior. This policy was not explained at the time of the sales order being written nor is there any explanation of this policy on the sales order. If you must deal with this company, get everything clearly detailed on the sales order, otherwise, when you cannot wait any longer for your equipment, they will keep your deposit.
