I researched a few limousine companies before booking with Montreal Limousine for the Ontario August long week, and I’m happy that I landed on this company. Making a booking request online was easy, and the back office promptly called me back to confirm all the details. The price was right, and the driver was fantastic! I would book Montreal Limousine again.

Edit: the owners response shows very clearly the unprofessionalism and untruthfulness mentioned. He himself admitted to being overbooked and it was 15 mins. After seeing the other real reviews (the 5 star ones are fake) I see it’s a pattern and I’ll take it as a lesson.BRIDES AND WEDDING PARTIES BEWARE — do not book if you have any kind of special event where preparation might take slightly longer than expected.I booked a car on my wedding day and was quite literally abandoned by this company because we told them we would be 15 MINUTES late to come out. It’s a wedding ,with a bride and 4 bridesmaids needing to get ready.. there are natural delays in preparation.The owner told me himself they had overbooked for the day of so could not wait & knew it was for a wedding so should not have accepted the job in the first place. Nowhere in our communications did it say that the limo would not even wait one minute if we were late.He also verbally insulted both my bridesmaid and myself (the bride) when we said we would be a bit delayed to come out and it was shocking to be spoken to this way.When I asked for a refund considering they literally abandoned us (and actually left at the exact time we had agreed on pickup) the owner David responded with a series of angry emails trying to put the blame on me even though he admitted to overbooking on this day. He refuses to refund me even 50%.This company Is absolutely unprofessional, aggressive, and a total scam. DO NOT BOOK.

-- UPDATE : The owner, David, sent me several text messages, emails then even called me home to insult me, screaming at me (obscenities; and he actually called me names) late at night - following this review. He has threatened me, then he proceeded to post a fake review about the company I work for! After this, he posted a 5 stars review on his own page **see Mikey Mtl review below - same username than my fake reviewer...** --Beware --- unacceptable / impolite & rude behavior.I don't usually write reviews, but I must warn of this particular company. I just had the worst, poorest customer service experience ever in my life! I have just received a quite offensive email from this very unprofessional business. So unreal!! I have to pinch myself to believe it.Here's the story, so please be advised if you are planning to book with this company:Everything was fine at first -- last Thursday (on July 23rd), I had sent an inquiry about the rates for an upcoming long-distance travel in August. Then David, very quickly, sent me a quote. He also sent several follow-up emails in the days following my original request. Quite pushy. He even sent me an invoice by email the very same day I called and told me two days later that he would cancel it if I don't pay right away to hold the reservation -- even if I had just inquired for a quote.. (?) But I thought it was okay - normal. Guys are doing business, they want to close the sales and book their vehicles in advance. Okay.Unfortunately (or fortunately), after this inquiry, I have received a better price from another company and so, I replied to his last follow-up email, explaining this and saying thank you for the quote - and maybe next time (it was not just about the price -- he did not offer the kind of vehicle I wanted for this travel). I even added that I would recommend his services or ask him again in the future, given that he offered quite a great service, responding promptly to answer my initial questions and providing a quote very quickly too. It was cordial.Then he replied to this email - offering to match the price or better it. He strongly insisted. So I answered, asking if he had other vehicles available than what he initially sent me for the quote - not an SUV but a luxury sedan? (I originally had asked for this anyway...) I did not send him the other quote. Just asked if he had another vehicle to offer - at this point, I was ready to reconsider.He answered that yes -- he would have luxury sedans to offer.I then asked for the car make/ model offered in this category. (just a normal request, isn't it?)And that's when he replied, the next minute, textually (charming email) :you know whatI’m not sucking upForget itGo with whom ever"And he was not done! (!!) He sent me right away another email saying:"Not interested no moreGetting too busy anywayGood luckAnd please do no contact me again"WOW! ... bad ending! Timely, professional and excellent service. Montreal Limousine provided excellent service with both a great driver and a clean limo which got us to our event on time. Thank you David. I will definitely use Montreal Limousine again when we’re back in town.

We were visiting from out of town, and David made it easy to coordinate a ride. From the initial call, I felt that this company would professionally handle all the arrangements and they did. They were knowledgeable about Montreal, the airport and which vehicles would be best for my group’s needed, and worked with me on the details of my request. Responsive, friendly, knowledgeable and great price. What more can you ask for? A++++++++

I inquired about their car services before reading the reviews. I then read them and decided to go with another company. Having a newborn, I did not have time to read my emails in the morning. David called me to ask why I didn't reply and did not let me explain, he hung up on me before I could say anything.Funny how the reviews were 100% accurate.

Ordering the limo was easy. Deposit taken over the phone and balance paid online. Vehicle was clean and well kept. Overall, a very nice experience.

Used this car service in Montreal for a series of business meetings with an extremely busy schedule of pick up and drop offs. David was extremely accommodating to our changing schedule, and was very helpful at coordinating throughout. I had a good experience with this company, and will use them again when we return.

EDIT: After I posted the review below (which I think is very balanced considering how inconvenient their failure to show up was), David called me at home and literally screamed obscenities at me so loudly that my child could hear from across the room. I was so unprepared for this attack that I didn't hang up right away, I asked him to be civil, that his language could be heard across the room. He continued unabated so I hung up. He called back immediately but I was shaken and didn't take the call, so he left an obscene message. Do not use this company.I reserved this company twice to bring a friend from the eastern tip of the island to an appointment at the MUHC. The first time was one way, the second time both ways. The first went well, which is why I made the second reservation. The owner told me that for the return trip, my friend just needed to let him know a half hour in advance when she was ready and that if there were any problem getting a driver he would take her himself since he was nearby. However, when it was time for my friend to return home, he said he had no driver, he wouldn't take her and she'd have to wait at least 2 hours for pick-up. This friend has advanced liver cancer and has barely the strength to walk. I had told the owner about her condition before booking. I think bailing on someone like that is a major fail. Luckily I was able to leave work early and drive her myself. Conclusion: I averaged the stars for the two trips to get 3 stars. But unless you can work around a 1 star experience when necessary, I'd go with a more reliable company.
