I don't usually write reviews, but the service and food received tonight from the TDM on 5 Road in Richmond (across from Ironwood Plaza) was so horrible that I needed to do so. A few things - We arrived an hour before closing to a dark restaurant that had its open" sign turned off (seemed closed) next

Ive been coming to this location for over 5 years and i can safely say its gone downhill. i realize there is a pandemic going on but i went in today the food tasted bland. there was no seasoning on anything, the rice, beans, salsa etc.. there is no excuse for this happening. Yes i can understand a shortage going on when it comes to certain things but its not that hard to go to save on foods next door and buy some seasonings. such a disappointment. wont be going back. ++ they also increased the prices by a considerable amount.

It's decently priced and has a good selection of items on the menu from tacos to bowls.

If there's an option to give 0 star, this Taco Del Mar located at 11020 No. 5 Road in Richmond, BC will certainly receive this great honor! I went there because of a Mobile Bandit coupon. Upon arrival, I ordered a burrito and went to pay, and they refused the coupon. The staff was well trained to quickly point at an old, dried and curled up small strip of paper saying No Mobile Bandit". I understood that the owner wanted to generate businesses by advertising through different platforms

I don’t often waste my time reviewing national chains unless they are exceptional, I had the pleasure of visiting this location. The staff expertly handled an abusive anti mask customer (Covidiot) but then provided excellent service despite being rattled by the previous customer, I joked with them while they prepared my meal which was done to perfection, my meal was fresh, tasty and the portions were great! Excellent value for the money! While enjoying my meal with my coworker we watched while customer after customer (obviously repeat customers) were dealt with respect and almost “small town neighbourhood” friendliness I was quite impressed by the professionalism and courtesy demonstrated by these two ladies! Very well done! I’ll be back!

We ordered food from this establishment despite all the bad reviews thinking how bad could it be. That was a massive mistake. It was the worst food we ever had! It was cold, tasted like wood chips, terribly dry and crumbly. One could even claim it was at least a day old. We had to resort to peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for dinner after throwing this excuse of a food to garbage. Stay away even if you're starving.

Usually I have had a positive experience at this location. The food was always satisfying and the staff were friendly. However, my most recent visit (about 3 weeks ago) was disappointing. When I arrived an hour before the posted closing time, the door was locked. I asked through the window if the reataurant was closed and all the staff member inside could do was nod his head to the side as if I was supposed to understand what that means.I cannot stand a business that does not show appreciation to its customers and needless to say I'll be going to businesses that are reliable and grateful to have paying customers during these trying times.

I used to absolutely love coming here. It has probably been at least a couple years since I ate here and I was in the area so I decided to go for it. My boyfriend and I went and the two girls working there weren't very friendly or helpful. They mumbled everything and neither of us could hear what they were asking us. When I politely asked her to repeat what she said she seemed very abrasive about it. My burrito was hardly even warm. Didn't have a lot of flavour. 5 hours later my stomach is VERY upset. I'll spare you the details there but it has not been a pleasant day after eating there. I had not eaten anywhere else before or after so I am pretty certain eating here was the cause for my really unpleasant stomach pains. My boyfriend ordered something different with a different meat choice and he is fine.

Great experience last I went. The girl there was helpful and patient with me as I went back and forth asking my girlfriend what she wanted since she was looking after our bike and scooter outside. She smiled as this was happening and even giggled at the amount of times I had to go back and forth. This was also close to closing time so she was working by herself! Hard to find staff with good attitude like that at a fast food place to work by themselves!

Ordered through skip the dishes at 5:15 PM on Monday Jan. 31. Order went through, but the store was completely closed when my driver arrived to pick up the food, despite the hours of operation showing it closes at 9PM on Mondays. I called the location and there was no answer as well. Now I have to deal with customer service for Taco Del Mar and Skip the Dishes to get my money back. Don’t go to this restaurant
