We needed to do something about the outdated and rather extravagant in-lays in our hardwood floors, but I couldn't stand to rip out the quality materials. So glad the experts at Rainbow hardwood flooring were able to save our beautiful hardwood and make me finally love the uniqueness of our floors! They started by giving us expert advice us on how to achieve our goals. They helped us understand the process and what the likely outcome would be before giving us a quote. They gave us multiple samples to choose the perfect stain colour. They worked quickly and professionally.Overall very happy with the outcome and would highly recommend this work.Save your money, time and resources - don't scrap your old hardwood, they can be redeemed with the right TLC and expertise!Communication was always quick and effective.Two things I would note:1 - Have a plan to deal with the smell of the stain and sealer. It's inevitable, but if you are concerned about the smell and output of these chemicals, it lingers longer than expected. For reference, we did not live in the house for over a week!2 - It's a messy job! Also inevitable, and I know they do their best to contain the mess. But if you are concerned about the cleanliness of other spaces or floors (dust, stain splashes, etc.), I would recommend taking the precautions yourself to protect the other surfaces of your home to reduce the mess and clean-up afterwards.

Fred and his team did a miraculous job repairing and refinishing the original pine floors on the second and third floor of our 1920s home. It had been trapped under carpet for decades, some rooms covered in paint and old linoleum tile. We were amazed by their attention to detail and the repairs made to damaged boards. We were under a time constraint and they did all of this work in the time that they promised and kept us informed of their progress every step of the way. We can't recommend them highly enough!
