A very professional outfit and their format was very beneficial to me. On the day of the job, I received a text message with a brief bio of the technician and photo with his ETA (really well done).Andrey was excellent and easy to communicate with, really down to earth and practical person. We needed to fix rotting pillars at the back of the house and he took the time to explain the process to restore and how things should be done.We were well pleased with the end result and definitely feel this is a good company to have on your speed dial even though they are a bit on the expensive side.Thank you for your help on this project.

I wanted to hang a set of Ikea curtain tracks into my concrete ceiling but since I didn't own the right drill, I booked an appointment for a handyman to come out. I mentioned the concrete ceiling when booking. When the handyman arrived, he confirmed the concrete ceiling before he started working.He was completely unprepared. He wasn’t making any progress with his drill and said “the concrete is too strong, it can’t be done”. I pointed out that our current blinds were drilled into the ceiling. He said “must have been done while they were building the condos, you can try double sided tape”. He patched up the hole he started and luckily didn’t charge us. A few days later, we borrowed a hammer drill from a friend and got them up in 20 min.

We hired Mr Handyman for some repairs to our deck, garden gates, etc, at the end of last summer. Some of the work seems to have held up fine, but both garden gates that they repaired failed again within a few months. I reached out to ask for a refund or for someone to take another look since their website says their workmanship is guaranteed for a year. They sent the same handyman and he repaired one of the gates again, but then he insisted that neither of the gate repairs would be covered under the guarantee. His reasoning was basically that it rains a lot in North Vancouver, so you can't expect fences and gates to stay standing, and that one of the fence posts was rotted out underneath so it wasn't a failure of his initial repair (although clearly the fence post must have been rotted when he originally put new bolts into it). I wouldn't have paid them to repair it in the first place if I had known they didn't expect it to last a year. Regardless, the office had told me they were sending someone based on the guarantee so I didn't appreciate being harassed for payment. The handyman was very rude and unhelpful both while doing the work originally and then during the return visit. The front office was not apologetic at all about the failed workmanship, and failed to get back to me multiple times - in the end they said the were going to speak with the manager to resolve it but I never heard back. Ultimately, although some of the work was fine, I wouldn't hire again, and I'm going to find someone else to re-fix our other garden gate.

Very pleased with final result. I procrastinated extensive deck and siding repairs far too long. Several unforeseen issues crept up but not surprising in ~50 year old house. Great communication throughout; easy to understand, indicated areas of concern or when a decision was required and explained options clearly. Text/email notification of ETA helpful; provided time to crate anxious dog. Also appreciate flexibility accommodating painter part way through project. Thank you Tim, Geoff and Sia for a good experience.

I talked to Mr. Handyman on July 4 2023 regarding an urgent plumbing matter in our home. Mr. Handyman assured me that he will call me on July 5 2023. Mr. Handyman did not call me on July 5 2023 as promised. If Mr. Handyman can’t make a phone call to his customers as promised, can you trust Mr. Handyman to do work in your home?

Good service. The handyman was prompt and courteous. Got the job done in expected time. The communication with the office was easy and the transaction was smooth.

Hired them to fix our sink door. The handyman came but in the wrong place... Totally told before coming to come to the basement and still went to the front, making it complicated. Then he went fix the sink door and what he did just glue it, after we remove the glue it didnt even work at all... I paid 250$ for nothing. Total scam. Hired another handyman and he does great and totally fix the door with less pay... Beware of this company. I just lose 250$
