Canadian Country Cabins

Mark was awesome to work with and the cabin was perfect for what my wife and I where looking for to rent. The area was quiet, secluded and the scenery was awesome. Mark was very helpful in recommening local outdoor activities. I would highly recommend this place and would go again.

When booking with Mark, he was very nice on the phone. We booked a couple of cabins. On the day we were checking in, he said to text him when we were about an hour or, so I did and said we would arrive about 3ish (didn't get a reply). When we got to the cabins at 3, the chain was across the front and we could see him mowing the lawn. I tried phoning, but he didn't hear the phone. We finally got his attention and he came over the chain but didn't take it down. He yelled (no exaggeration) at us that check in wasn't till 4! That it says that on the website!!! We were all shocked by his outburst. We backed up and left, to return later. I didn't remember that check in was 4. Hadn't looked at the site since I booked. He could have easily reminded me when we talked last on the phone, or even when I had texted about our arrival time. Or he could have just simply not yelled and said he wasn't ready for us yet. So don’t show up early! While we were there he was very nice. It was just so weird to have experienced the yelling when he seems like a nice guy.When we got into the cabins later that night, they look pretty nice. They are clean and have most things you need. Beds were comfortable and the view when the clouds clear is spectacular. Some things he could add to the kitchen though are: oven mitts, a cloth to dry the dishes (there were only 2 small wash clothes in both our cabins) and more kitchen utensils (one cabin had a flipper and one didn’t which makes cooking pancakes very hard, lol).

It's a beautiful and a quiet place to getaway and unwind from the routine . Me and my husband had a great time there and squeaky and caliph (German shepherds)are just adorable . Would visit again .
