Top notch. Had an Indian head massage (Olivia, wonderful !), a cut and a hot towel shave (Ivan, fantastic barber). All the services were fantastic and staff/owner made me feel right at home. A few drinks to finish off the afternoon. I will be back soon !

Great vibe, great people, great place for a haircut or pampering, while having a drink and just a great way to spend a relaxing time. Great place for a group event. Excellent scotch/whisky list, and they make some fantastic cocktails. And they can cater food. So get a group of likeminded individuals and have them close the place down for you.

Took out son in for a haircut with Jessica and he walked out all smiles from ear to ear. Jessica did an amazing job with his long hair took a few inches off and he really seems to love it. We sat at the bar and I enjoyed a birthing day beer and the hubby enjoyed a few as well. Great spot supporting a lot of local businesses which is always amazing to see.

I have been going to Highlander Spa since it opened. I like the cool,relaxed and relaxing vibe. What keeps me going back is the massage from Anthony. In simple terms:Anthony is an outstanding massage therapist. He is very personable and every visit he has suggestions for things to do to relieve muscle strain. Whenever I leave I think to myself,”That was the best massage I have ever had.” The next visit, I end up leaving with the same idea. I would strongly recommend Anthony to anyone.

A wonderful place with welcoming staff and relaxing environment. Big thanks to Eleni for an amazing waxing service. Her attention to detail, professionalism, and skill really impressed me. I will definitely be returning to the spa for another appointment.

If you're looking for some good vibes and a fresh cut, you got to check out Highlander and ask for Jessica. She's got mad skills and a super friendly energy. She gave me an incredible haircut and even offered me a cup of coffee to enjoy during my visit. Her skills are top-notch, and the atmosphere at Highlander is just all-around awesome.Thank you Jessica, I appreciate all the time and effort you put into making sure I got exactly what I wanted, and I'll definitely be coming back soon.

Jessica provides the best haircut in the city of Halifax!!! Totally listened to what I wanted, and did it to perfection. Super personable and easy to talk to! She made it a really enjoyable experience. Would highly recommend!!!

My wife and I went to the Highlander Spa for the first time today, but not the last. I had a haircut and a straight razor shave, followed by a pedicure - my first. My wife had the executive foot treatment. We each walked out fully satisfied!After today’s experience, I think we have found my new place for haircuts.

Atmosphere was nice and inviting, great there is a place caters to Men for this type of service. People were friendly. Cost was reasonable for this service. The only reason I gave 3/5 is because I ended up with hangnail infection of my big toe the next day that lasted 2 weeks. I never had one before and it was definitely from the treatment.Today I received a call back from Highlander very concerned with the fact I had an infection post treatment, they verified that all their instruments are sterilized to standards and wanted to validate by offering me a reduction on a future treatment. I would still love a future treatment but declined as I am moving, however with their amazing customer services I change my rating to 5/5. Thank You Highlander Spa

The highlander makes me feel like a Spa day is ok. My wife enjoys services there too. A great couples afternoon can be spent at the Highlander. Not to mention the atmosphere for group bookings is fantastic. I would have not pictured myself going to a normal spa for foot treatment, but I feel completely welcome at the Highlander. The bar is a nice treat and I love the warm towel on arrival and phone cleaner pad, have a drink while you refresh your face and your phone and then get down to the Spa business you are there for!
