Amazing dental staff, and great receptionist. They advised me what the best course of action and the most immediate dental concerns. Dr. Jones did an amazing job of fixing my teeth, honestly absolutely amazing. 10/10 I will never visit another dentist in Kamloops. I feel comfortable and well taken care of at this office. They always make sure your doing okay and your comfortable, as well ensure you can get the most work done for your money! Some dentists like to milk you but they genuinely care about your dental health and will help you go about it the most efficient way possible.

My husband and I went here for a few appointments in total and now have to look at other dentists. I came in for a pre check up appointment where they took x-rays and the appointment lasted 2 hours. Not even a cleaning or real plan made. I had an online drs appointment I had to take in the dentist chair due to being there way longer than I expected. It was super frustrating as my limit for claiming medical/dental appointments at work without a note is 2 hours, I almost had to get a note for a dentist appointment where all they did were x-rays (it was a lot of waiting alone in a chair.) They did apologize and say it was busier than usual but I’d rather them cancel my appointment than make me sit there for 2 hours. My husband had to miss his appointment that day (scheduled for the same time as mine) due to a meeting a work going longer than he expected to which he notified them of and they made a huge deal about him missing the appointment and how they were going to charge them when there’s no way they would have had time for him that day anyhow. They were probably relieved he had to miss it as they were so overbooked at that time. I’m not sure about their actual dentistry work, maybe that’s really good but I’m not going to another appointment and sitting there for hours just to find out.

This is a very professional clinic with a highly competent set of practitioners. Dr. Murray is extraordinary in her care and attention. She is very gentle and always explains as she treats so the client is prepared for what is coming next. The hygienists are also caring, attentive, thorough and always offer options and explanations. The receptionists and assistants are also very considerate, efficient and caring.I do and will always recommend this clinic to any person I know looking for an excellent clinic to receive excellent care.

I started seeing Dr Jones in March 2023, after I developed 2 abscessed molars. I wad terrified to go to any dentist because I knew I had a lot of work needed to be done and was expecting it to be extremely painful.Not only was Dr Jones extremely gentle, like I did not feel a single thing during my root canal or extraction of my 2 abscesses molars not even the freezing needles, she also used calming breathing techniques when she seen I was getting nervous in the chair.Dr Jones created an ongoing care plan for my teeth that was affordable and covered by my extended health benefits through work. She made a point to keep in touch after my extraction and my root canal, through the weekend when the office was closed.I honestly can not say enough great things about Dr Jones, the hygienists and reception staff in their office.I booked my initial appointment with them because the receptionist who answered the phone was so empathetic and caring over the phone and I am so glad I did.I have recommended Dr Jones and the whole team at Hillside Dental to anyone and everyone I talk too.I can 100% guarantee that if you are nervous about seeing the dentist, you won't be after seeing the team at Hillside Dental no matter how severe your situation is. If I could give 1000 stars, I would.

Dr Jones was awesome. shes my new favourite. wearing my headphones very loudly made a huge positive difference for my experience. the Dr was great. her techniques were smooth and well done. very pain free. i really liked that it seems to be all female staff which made me very comfortable. theyre all smart, confident, nice and the office smells pleasant. there arent any weird scary smells. i was very happy. thank you for your good work : )

I brought my 1 yr old daughter in for her first checkup. Dr. Murray and her assistant, Selina, did a wonderful job.

Dr. Murray is a caring, compassionate professional. She takes the time to listen and explain what is going on. She is clearly a dentist at the top of her game. And, her team...especially Hygenist Corissa are some of the best in the business. Thanks for treating your patients so well after all these years. Highly recommended.

It was so nice to be able to have my root canal and crown done at my regular Dentist office.Dr. Jones was great. She explained everything and made sure I was comfortable during each procedure and even checked on me the day after the first one to make sure I was not having any problems. I am very happy with the end result and wholeheartedly recommend Hillside Dental. All of the staff there are wonderful!
