Bow Cycle E-Bikes

The service from this store is exceptional. The manager, Adam, took the time to look at my dropper post on a busy Saturday and will arrange for the warranty service even though the bike was not purchased from Bow Cycle. He even arranged for a loaner dropper post for me. I highly reccommend this bike shop!

Nice and friendly staff. convenient place to rent e bikes next to pathways especially going to fish creek then Glenmore reservoir and back. All have spikes for winter.

Great shop, anything a person wants to know about e bikes, this is the place to go! Staff are friendly, hilarious (super personable) and didn’t get annoyed with all of our questions. They genuinely know their stuff. My boyfriend and I can’t wait to get our new wheels, now it’s just on us to make a decision between all the the cool options. Thanks again guys!

Just wanted to say thank you to Adam and Sebastien for their superior customer service and helping me with a bike purchase. It’s because of them I will always recommend Bow Cycle over other bike shops to any of my friends and family going forward. The bikes are top class, too. Thank you!

While the bikes were in good condition and the staff was helpful, I found some of their policies to be quite annoying. For instance, they required a hefty deposit for each bike rental, which I found unnecessary. Additionally, they had strict return policies that made it difficult for me to extend my rental period.On the positive side, the staff was knowledgeable and helped me choose the right bike for my needs. They also provided me with a map of the surrounding area, which was helpful for navigating my way around. The bikes themselves were comfortable and rode smoothly, which made for an enjoyable ride.Overall, I would say that this bike rental spot is a decent option, but their policies could use some improvement. If you're looking for a quick and hassle-free bike rental, this might not be the best choice for you. However, if you don't mind dealing with some annoying policies, the bikes themselves are of good quality and the staff is helpful.

Bike service wasn't very helpful. I asked if they could true my ebike hub and they said 'we don't carry spokes'. A bike shop that doesn't carry spokes? They also said they wouldn't work on anything they didn't sell, despite my bike being a from the factory Norco and they carry Norco.

First time in Calgary and rented an eBike! This place is so terrific. Initially, I rented from the East Village Store. Ezio (sp?) was super helpful for my gal pal and me! The service is just wonderful. It is true Canadians are really nice people.My 2nd encounter was at the Bowness store. A very nice and knowledgeable young man, Matt, helped me even tho he knew I was not buying a bike. Bow Cycle had Specialized and Townie ebikes. It was a perfect time to get a comparison of the two. Matt jumped in, answered my many questions, brought up good points I had not thought of and set me out on a Townie quick ride.When I return to Calgary, which I will, this will be the only bike place I will go. Amazing people, outstanding service and just fun to be around!

My wife and I flew into Calgary before heading to Banff for our summer vacation and decided to check out Bow Cycle. We both seriously enjoyed our experience on a few of the multitude of trails available in Calgary and the surrounding area! The staff were very helpful and accommodating and the location was exceptional being right on the Bow River.
