When me and my husband decided to get married, we decided to do it at the Millbrook Cathedral because it was close to his hometown and of how unique the venue was. Liz met us for our tour and she was so warm and I felt that she was personally invested in our special day.Last year, we thought our wedding wasn’t going to be impeded by COVID restrictions. I just felt like I was getting bad news, and I was super thankful that I had hired Liz as my wedding planner because she kept me in the loop about wedding restrictions, she gave me options and most of all, I had someone to talk to. As a bride, planning your own wedding is super stressful and then adding on top of that a pandemic— wow.I didn’t intend to have a wedding planner initially but boy I don’t have any regrets. From video calls, phone calls, text messages to our wedding day, Liz was there. She helped us with our music! She even took care of the decor! The venue was beautiful and intimate and everything you would want for a wedding in a pandemic! So please, hire her because you really don’t need all that stress for the most important day of your life.

Liz was so wonderful to work with! She made everything on my wedding day a breeze so I didn't have to worry about last minute planning. She was great at staying connected with myself and all vendors so that everyone was on the same page! Liz pays a lot of attention to the small details that will make your day as special as possible.

Hiring Alfresco Wedding and Events to be my day of coordinator was the best investment I made on my wedding day. The services I received was 100% worth the fair price they charge. We got married two weeks ago at Millbrook Cathedral. I had Liz as my contact source to start then I had Krista as the main coordinator on my wedding day. Krista was fun, feisty, organized and on point with every single detail. At one point, Krista was all up in my dress helping me bustle it so I could dance easier. The next moment she was helping a guest find an item they lost. Krista grabbed me food and helped me feel calm. I am sure Krista dealt with stuff behind the scenes but we never knew because things went so smoothly. Krista was a warm and fun presence and my fiance and I had minimal stress on our wedding day. Alfresco even uses this awesome program to make a full day of itinerary that you can collaborate on and share with your wedding party. Alfresco set up all of our decor and packed everything up nicely for us. Overall, I would 10/10 recommend hiring Alfresco Weddings and Events, they are worth every dollar and we couldn't have done it without them! Thanks :)

Liz and her team are great at what they do. They are so friendly and extremely considerate to making sure your vision comes to life. Liz is very laid back but also very focused and driven. You can tell she loves what she does. If you are on the fence about getting a wedding planner in any capacity, don't be! It is so worth it... Liz and her team will keep your day running smoothly and effortlessly. We highly recommend her services.

I cannot recommend Liz and Alfresco weddings strongly enough. Book them if you can!!!! From the beginning reaching out and asking about their services they were so quick to respond and with such a full description of their available services. And the VALUE oh my god!!!! Liz and her wonderful assistant Danielle came from Ottawa all the way out to Orangeville to take part in our wedding. Liz was present for the rehearsal the night prior and bright and early the day of. She made our day run so smoothly, I couldn’t tell you the number of people who said “I have never been to a wedding without a single hiccup or delay, until today” she was so supportive and worked so seamlessly with all of our vendors. I never imagined that the month in advance of my wedding would be the least stressful time of the entire planning process but she and her team are spectacular! We had Alfresco Wedding And Events take over 6 weeks before our June wedding. Krista was our planner and can I say she is AMAZING. She is so easy to talk to and was willing to help/make any changes we needed. Day of she handled everything! and I wasn't worried one bit! She's a sanity saver!

We started working with Liz in 2019 and of course we were impacted by Covid. Liz was wonderful to work with! We pivoted many times and she brought her expertise and compassion to our numerous meetings. Having her support and calm demeanor on the day of our wedding was so worth it!! We recently booked Liz and her team for day of wedding services package at millbrook Cathedral, and couldn’t be more happier with the results. At first we thought we could easily do it by ourselves, as we had a very simple small wedding. We were wrong, and could never have achieved perfection without the help of Liz and her team.She reached out to us a couple months before, providing us with a vastly detailed planner that made our day flawless. She contacted all of our vendor’s regarding confirmation, meal choices, invoices, dress code etc. all the while setting up a itinerary that went flawless.she offered to help us store some minor Decor instead of us bringing up day of, she also helped us finish getting one of our last vendor invoices as we were getting worried about possibly not having them arrive.During our wedding day she would frequently check up on us as well as vendors and guests. She was always readily available for any questions me and my wife had, and even helped with a dress toss for photos!Overall I can’t stress enough how perfect she made me and my wife’s day. For anyone looking to have a planner, either day of services or the whole package I highly recommend Liz and the Alfresco team for any event!

In our search for a wedding planner, we reached out to a few different people and decided to go with Liz because of the connection we felt from our first email exchange and conversation and value for service. Liz was willing to work with us on our vision and within our budget which was important to us. Our monthly virtual meetings, and more frequent calls and texts as we got closer to the day provided an opportunity to ask questions and helped put our minds at ease working through communications with our venue and all the little details. Liz also helped us source some wonderful vendors including photographer, DJ, and violinist. Despite all the planning, our big day did not go as planned. Due to a storm, our venue had trees down and was without power. Within a three-hour window leading up to our ceremony, Liz and event assistant Sarini worked quickly to pivot with our family, friends, and vendors to re-set up our ceremony and reception at a totally new location. We are still in disbelief with how smoothly things went and cannot imagine how the day would have gone without this team of professionals.

We found Liz online and she was very responsive form the first email exchange. We had a little bit of a more stressful wedding with a venue that we could only see once before the big day, but she was with us virtually every step of the way. On the big day, she was very attentive and allowed us to focus on each other. She handled all the small details in a very attentive way and made life much more relaxing, especially her management of the suppliers. It would not have gone as well if not for her, she was absolutely essential for a stress free wedding.
