Canadian Tire
I went in to get some things that were on sale. I browsed around and killed some time. Looking at various on sale stuff. But hey, that's what you do at Canadian Tire... right! Overall, it's a pretty clean and organized store. A little crowded in the center aisle. But...it's the changing of the seasons now !

Purchased four new tires from this location to the tune of $1400. Had an appointment, made three weeks earlier, for 8am, for which I received multiple text reminders from Canadian Tire. Was told that I could pick up my vehicle at 3pm (why I was forced into an 8am appointment is a mystery). I arrived at 3:30pm to find that my vehicle had not been touched yet. Was told it would be another two hours. No apology. No explanation.(Update...called the customer service" number as instructed below. Waited over 15 minutes before hanging up.)"

Recently we used Canadian tire for the first time to get new tires. A 12:30 appointment was offered so I arrived around 12:15. At 1:15 the vehicle had not gone in so I asked at the service desk and noted that I needed to leave by 3. I was informed that the vehicle would be going in shortly and there should be no problem having it done by 3. All that needed to be done was put new tires on rims and then change the winter tire & rims with with new tires & rims. The vehicle went in around 1:30. Around 2 they noted they couldn’t find the lug nut so I found it for them in the glove box and was again assured the vehicle was on track to be done before 3. At 3:05 I went to the desk to find out where things were at and the service provider I was working with was not present. Someone else looked into the vehicle and said that it wasn’t ready and then informed me that it was my fault for staying there and that I should have left the vehicle with them for the day. I have never needed to leave a vehicle for the day when only swapping tires - if something is wrong with the car then yes - timing is unpredictable. I had a critical meeting I was suppose to be on camera for followed by an important school activity for my kids - the car was not ready until after 4. What was really disappointing is that no one came to tell me it was going to be delayed and when I went to pay and pick up the keys - the individual who told me it would be ready at 3 didn’t say anything - no apology for the delay, or the fact that they didn’t inform me about the fact it was going to take longer than expected. I have owned a vehicle for over 30 years - and I have never had to take a day off work and cancel after school activities because of a tire swap. That was the first and last time we use Canadian tire for any vehicle service

Extremely messy, unorganized store. Prices missing, shelves empty. Pallets blocking aisles. I asked if there was an outdoor thermometer anywhere and I was taken to Martha living corner that was emptyNot a good shopping experience. Can tire usually has higher standardsHopefully issues get sorted outEdited to add: I don’t think your auto response is helping much. The staff shortages or whatever is happening needs to be addressed. Has nothing to do with me calling a 1-800 #

This is my Canadian Tire! Every employee I've had interactions with here have been spectacular. The people associates here make the shopping experience a 10/10. They're always so knowledgeable about product placement and go above and beyond to help find an item. They're accommodating, honoring before-and-after week sales, so if you're there and like an item you just have to show a flyer item is/was/will be on sale and they match that price. To the team here - you guys make everything so great! Thank you for doing what you do!

I shop here often. Although it can be tricky to find employees if you are in need of help.... they are around , usually just busy restocking, unloading ..building ... working... so it's understandable .I just really like the products and great sales.I appreciate the fact that if you no longer have your receipt for a return, they can look up your card number and return it (not if you use Google wallet though, it scrambles the card numbers)

There’s Canadian Tires, and then there’s Canadian Tires. This is sadly not one of the ones we’d recommend. Many empty shelves, empty pegboard hooks , and all and all a disorganized location. Went looking for mini ato fuses yesterday and was met with a forest of empty hooks.Previous to that we’ve seen and heard staff airing their dirty laundry, and complaining about issues best left for behind closed doors. This is a location that desperately requires a significant makeover - and a significant boost in team morale.4 tears of sadness.*** After reading the corporate response from Canadian Tire below, and then immediately calling the number they left, only to find it already closed, speaks volumes to the sheer amount of automated responses, along with their true desire to receive real actual meaningful feedback.

I need to rant and get this off my chest because this was one of the worst Auto service experiences I've ever had in my life. I ordered a set of tires and wheels online, thinking it would be easy to have them delivered to this location and serviced right there! Oh how I was wrong.First off, the website said the wheels and tires where in stock. I ordered thinking it would be a few days wait. A week later... still nothing... two weeks later... still nothing. Everytime I called it seemed like no one had any idea what was happening and couldn't tell me when I'd get my order. One time I called for an update and the guy told me no... you only ordered wheels

It was my first and last time here. I bought new winter tires here, and after they mounted it, my car started to drive wrong. It didn’t keep the road and behaved like a jelly, driving was totally unsafe. I had suffered for a month, did the alignment, visited several services to diagnose the cause of problem. As the last option I went to other tires service to check the balance, and how wonder it was to find that my wheels doesn’t balanced at all. There was crazy deviation. It's just outrageous, how unprofessional they work. Keep away!

Canadian Tire Richmond SQ is failing its customers and probably its employees. They may make great profits as it's a densely populated, well to do part of town and people need stuff, but the place is a disaster. This store has never been well run but it has sunk to a new unacceptable low. Stock is in boxes on carts piled EVERYWHERE making it hard to get your cart through the mess, shelves need restocking. Staff wander around doing who knows what? Some staff try, usually ineffectively, to find items and others just point you in a direction elsewhere as they don't want to bother looking through boxes for your item. Everyone requires you to look up the item on your phone so they can get them the item number. Many staff are angry and even when asked nicely for assistance to find missing items that show 'in stock' they huff and puff.Today it took 1.5 hours and 7 employees (only 1 was helpful) to find 5 items for a repair project. The older staff are tired and the young staff don't know how to or don't want to work. In all fairness there are a few standout employees but they are the exception. My husband and I both worked retail when we were young. Whips were cracked and we worked hard, fast and efficiently and never dared complain or be anything but polite to customers (and miraculously we survived - physically, mentally and emotionally). This store needs new management or more management. Maybe the problems stem from further up the chain, regardless this place needs fixing.P.S. Please re-open access from the store to the garden area, it's a huge pain when shopping for items both inside and the garden area. Plus there is very limited parking in the garden area for the volume of cars.
