Fung Lum restaurant
I and my wife just happened upon this delightful restaurant in the Sunnyside Mall of Bedford, NS. We are from about 250 km away and were in that area shopping.The atmosphere is calming, with calligraphy and art on the walls. It is open and spacious.The staff member who served us was warm and took care to ensure our meal was perfect.The menu is extensive and the food was delicious!We will definitely go again if we are in the area.

The waitress and her attitude is always a solid “1 star”, very proud, impatient, pushy.Always no smile no chat no answering to anything you say even it’s a “thank you”. Cold proud tone with loud voice.Food is 6/10. Her service Haven’t improved at all in the past a few times, and she even argues with you!Wont come back. Especially after seeing a running mice under other tables.

Part of steel wool was mixed in the turnip cake when I tasted it… so bad. Steel wool is used to clean the wok, that’s disgusting.And they never apologized just exchanged a new one and offered a free fried turnip cake.The point is food hygiene, even if you offer more free dishes, but I can’t imagine how the food was made…Compared to food hygiene, pricy and poor quantity isn’t that big matter…

We had some meals here a few times during covid. The food was excellent and always top notch. However, during recent times the quality has fallen off a cliff. Ordered a meal yesterday; chicken and rice were both old and not acceptable to serve. Oil it was cooked in tasted bad and the sauce had so much vinegar that it was not edible.Will not be back

I stopped on my way home to grab a quick take out dinner. The service was excellent and very quick. My husband and I both enjoyed our combo meal. We will be back

Good authentic Chinese food in Before area, love it. A warm family restaurant with a bright decor. A good menu with a wide selections. You won't be disappointed.

We went to this place for the first time for lunch. The place is huge and we were the only people there . That should have been our first clue. I ordered the Stir Fry Singapore Vermicelli , my friend ordered the Egg Roll • Chicken Fried Rice • Beef with Broccoli. When mine arrived I had to ask the waitress where the meat and shrimp were on my plate, she pointed a few out, by moving around the noodles :(.After eating 2 shrimp (by the way these are the extremelysmall salad shrimps) I had no doubt the shrimp was rancid, which seemed to leak onto the noodles. When I told the waitress she said shrimp often goes bad just like at home, took my plate away and brought back with my plate without the shrimps and added 3 very small pieces of rubber chicken. I didn't eat it ...omg.My friends was okay had 3 strips of beef. She couldn't eat the egg roll to greesy.The waitress brought us two boxes for our food for which she grabbed my plated and emptied it into a box, taking away my plate.She then came back with our bills. I didn't say anything as I was in no mood to get into an argument with the wait staff, she stood over me watching to see if I left her a tip. Disgusting food

The food was average to above average, I would go or order there again.We arrived after the hurricane and waited a little long but absolutely expected amountnof time.Very reasonable food, service and quality.
