Global Windows and Doors

I had six windows from company installed in my house by by my contractor and every single one if them stained badly in between the panes of glass because of some chemical reaction. UPDATE- They contacted me today offering to try to resolve this. I need to send them some further information so we'll see I guess.UPDATE- This apparently will be resolved in the New Year.

Terrible experience! Had Novy" defect with glass in all windows. Will not cover under warranty for Windows less than 10 years old!! Five times to our house and work still not complete! Broke glass twice loading into their truck. Lost one window - no explanation. Ordered 8 wrong size windows. Don't answer their phones. Don't keep time commitment. Would NOT recommend to our worse enemy!!! Would score less than one if this site would allow!!"

I love my windows from Global!To start, We installed triple-pane energy-efficient windows from Global in our new home, and WOW, do they ever make a difference!! We have saved so much on heating during the winter and rarely turn on the A/C during the summer! And to our surprise, we noticed that the triple-pane windows reduce the noise coming from the outside. We live on Main street, which is very busy and loud, so we appreciate the quietness it gives us.Secondly, the quality and design of the windows are fantastic. The outside and inside look very sleek. They did an excellent job incorporating discreet weep holes in their product!Lastly, the service that I received from Global was outstanding!Overall, 10/10 would recommend.

Worst investment I have ever made buying a patio door from global, also have all new windows in my new house they are vinyl, painted black, paint is all scratched up, one window was broken when it arrived 6 months ago and still has not been replaced. Poor investment! Door doesn't open and close well, rail on bottom is damaged, need I say more.

Built a new home and used global windows, what a mistake! A lifetime warranty turned into no warranty at all. My windows have to be replaced due to inadequate UV protection. Buyer beware!!

I recently replaced the old windows in my 1914 house. I had a few minor problems but they worked with me and I am very pleased with their support. I also last year ordered a thermol pane for my front door and it looks beautiful. They have a great product and stand behind their product with a great warranty. Great job. ANYONE LEAVING A POSITIVE REVIEW IS EITHER AN EMPLOYEE OR FAMILY. WORST COMPANY FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE i ordered all the windows for my home from this company. The windows had a lifetime warranty. So when my large picture frame window began to fail after less than ten years I was surprised. I sent an email to Targetts windows and doors they sent me to Global windows who supplies/manufactures the windows for them.I was contacted by a person named Andrew who asked me to send him pictures of the window. Upon inspection of the window by picture he determined that the discoloration and gas bubbles weren't the result of a failed seal. It was the result of the sun's UV rays reacting with the PVC that separates the window panes. A failure that causes the window to look horrible and fogged up all the time. He said his company had other windows similar to mine and they had sent them away to be looked at by an lab. The lab determined that the windows hadn't failed by had just been poorly constructed with material that was poor. There are a lot of reviews on here saying this company has poor customer service. I wholeheartedly agree.He had mentioned that there was no moisture present in my window (because it's summer time) and because of that no warranty. All my other windows fog up during the winter and have moisture between the panes.Don't use this company or any company that carries their products. They sold me a product that was supposedly high end and I ended up with a big window that doesn't look healthy. Everyone who comes to the house comments on it. Word of mouth is the best advertising they say.

We are very very happy with our new front door! Beautiful, stylish, and excellent craftsmanship.The technician who installed our door was very friendly and efficient.

I wish I would have read these reviews prior to ordering. We were promised our windows and garden door on Sept 30th. Still not here. It's getting cold and we can't turn on the heat as the old windows/door habe gaps that just can't be sealed. We haven't paid for them yet but trying to get them from someone else at this point is impossible.

Stay away from this company! Very far away! At least if you want a quality product and a warrantee they stand behind. We’ve had a 7 year nightmare that just keeps going. 7 years ago we bought a new Fiberglass front door and side glass panel with the belief they were the best things on the market and we wanted something that would last. 6months in the door warps and needs replacing. Took forever to get someone here to see it and then forever for them to replace it. Repeat the same scenario 4 times over the next 6 years (we’re on door number 4). After door number 2 replaced I started hearing from others about the poor quality of Fiberglass doors in our Canadian winters. We then requested a new product to replace the garbage product they had provided (steel instead of Fiberglass) Then covid hit so for 2 years nothing happened. 6 months ago we started fighting for a new door again and yay and it would be in Truro and installed mid May !!! Finally got approval for a steel door replacement (bye bye Fiberglass!!) we were so excited for the nightmare to be over! The door is warped so bad especially in super cold weather that snow was blowing into our home during the winter around the frame!! But surprise! Yet another issue with this company. We originally bought our door from global through alweather windows and doors who no longer deal with global ( I can’t imagine why). Mid May comes and no word or door so phone calls start again. Long story short they’ve shipped the door to a random place here in truro after trying to deliver to alweather and being told no because they no longer sell that companies product. We then received a phone call from the company telling us our door could be picked up but it was our problem to find someone to install it and they wouldn’t be doing it. All previous replacement installs had be done for us by them. Now we’re going to be out more money and time and have to find an installer and figure out a way to get the door to our home and find a place to store it as I’m pretty sure the place it is now isn’t going to keep it there forever! So learn from our mistake and STAY AWAY!
