As a non-smoker, I went in looking for a butane lighter for my father.Excellent service. Very knowledgeable. Didn't make me feel rushed or try to sell me the most expensive thing. Found exactly what I was looking for, and at what seems to me to be a very good price. And I love the old school atmosphere of the shop. Great experience all round.

A great tobacco store and their cigars are always fresh. But I feel of being rush. I hope it changes in the near future.

Chris is knowledgeable and friendly. He knew his stuff re Shaving Brushes, Safety Razors (Merkur) and Shave Cream (Knightsbridge, Taylor, Dr. Harris). Purchased Kent Travel Brush, Brush Stand and some Knightsbridge. Will be back to consider a Merkur and Vie Long.

Nice old school tobacco store.The have double edged safety razors and blades which are hard to find.Prices are competitive and service is friendly and helpful.

Used to come here until they stopped western union transfers, staff aren't very friendly but are helpful enough. They have a great selection of tobacco & smoking accessories.

I usually use this place for Western Union Services, 'Lately' I am not sure why, but every time i walk in with the new employees working there, i feel uneasy.One of the employees will follow you in the small tiny space that it is(kind of feel like I am being stalked or followed to keep an eye on customers who spend money), Despite the Numerous transactions i have made through western union, sending and receiving worldwide as i own my own business, Mostly if your not dressed to someones standards, you will be followed like a thief despite the fact you have enough money to buy that store.So i am pleased with the store, But they should really re-evaluate the creepiness of their employees.

Helpful and knowledgeable guys that are willing to help you with advice for setting up your humidor or even re-charging it and maintaining it through the dry winter. My buddy recommended them to me and I'm recommending them to you.

great knowledgeable staff as well as friend and great selection of pipe tobacco, pipes, cigars, and accessories. also has a large selection of lighters and zippos.they also have shelf knickknacks like sail boats for sale

Pipe tobacco is available in many stores, but at Sievert's they did not just sell it, they knew about it. They could answer questions and make reccommendations about blends and brands. A must stop for the serious smoker in halifax.
