Short and sweet, I am relieved my beautiful Aunt now at peace, God will care for her the way she should have been cared for in this place

When I visited my Grandma with my mom, I went to make a cup of tea with the kettle. It was dirty so I looked for vinegar under the sink, then descaled it and made the tea. At which point I was approached by a staff member and told to stay out of the community kitchen.My grandma has lived there for over 5 years and will be there the rest of her life. She cannot feed or move herself. When we visit we bring food and snacks and the staff make us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable.There is only one nurse there who has ever made us feel comfortable, I can only hope she stays there.

I highly recommend having your loved ones live at Knollcrest, they have an amazing staff who are dedicated in providing a safe, clean and loving environment. My Aunt has lived there for over 7 years, she suffers from dementia and the staff have always treated her with the utmost in respect. Every department from housekeeping to nursing to dietary to activities takes the responsibility of caring for your loved ones seriously. There activities department works really hard to provide my aunt with a fulfilling day of enriching programs, and the dietary department provides quality meals. As for the nursing department they are amazing, hands down. I have seen the housekeeping staff take time out of their day to stop of listen to various residents and have amazing conversation that leave the residents feel loved. I know after every visit with my aunt that I'm leaving her in good hands, till the next visit. Thank you to all those who care and look after my Aunt, she may not be able to say it for herself but I will say it for her keep up the good work!!!!

My mom stays there. She is wheelchair bound. Her husband volunteers there. And yet her flowers are never watered. Her room is a disaster. It took 6 months for the maintenance to help put a shelf up. Recently a nurse left mom unsecured and she fell face first on the floor. It was traumatic and I won't be surprised if it shaves time off her life.Few nurses care, I get the impression that most do not like working. Even calling feels uncomfortable and like I'm inconveniencing them to talk to my mom.Pray they don't let her fall again *cries*

I would like to thank the staff at Knollcrest Lodge for all their hard work.My loved one lived there for many years until her passing, the staff was always compassionate and knowledgeable and kept me informed of any medical and personal changes that she went through.The various departments work very hard, the activation department always attempts to keep your loved one busy while respecting the residents wishes, the restorative department is always busy trying to keep the residents physically strong. The nursing staff works very hard at meeting the needs of all the residents and showing respect and love to all the residents. The dietary staff/ housekeeping/laundry are a great group of people who work hard at keeping the facility clean, the residents feed with great food and keeping the clothes clean.The office staff was always amazing.I highly recommend Knollcrest Lodge
