Prairie Concepts

We hired Prairie Concepts to replace our wood floors in a business renovation. They were so helpful in the selection process of our new floors, giving us many samples to choose from. When the job began there was a few surprises for Adam to work around when it came to the old building we are located in. He quickly came up with solutions as we were under a tight timeline for reopening. They managed to finish the job quicker than we could have asked for and we absolutely love our new floors! We get so many compliments from our clients on the look of the floors now, and we highly recommend Prairie Concepts to anyone that asks!

I would give 0 stars if I could. They were hired to take out carpet and lay laminate wood. This started in September 2020. Job is still incomplete. What was done is done so poorly it was like an drunk uncle did you a favor. Colors don't match, trims installed poorly. They've also left the main entrance in our home a construction area with nails sticking out. Somehow they have to wait for flooring to complete the job even though they left boxes of flooring here. Barely any communication. Go somewhere else.

They did a decent job of installing LVP flooring in my home. But are completely unresponsive now that I have called/emailed them to get them to come back and fix a few problem spots.A few spots were not done correctly and the LVP is cracking apart. They seem to have completely abandoned all responsibility, and wont respond to emails or phone calls.I never even demanded they fix stuff for free. I only asked about their warranties on installed flooring, in case it was still covered. But nothing! Not even a 'sorry on vacation', or 'busy, talk in 2 weeks'.So if you use them, you had better make sure they do it right the first time, cus getting any response from them after a job is done is an exercise in futility.Maybe they are delaying until its not covered by their guarantees and warranties?

Adam was great to deal with and priced very competitively. He worked with us and helped us find cost-effective, but quality solutions to our reno that left our whole main floor looking brand new. He ripped out the old carpet and reinforced the floor boards before installing the new flooring. He also did an awesome job on the baseboards and backsplash in the kitchen. You won't be disappointed if you go with Prairie Concepts!

This review is long overdue! Back in the Summer of 2019 I hired Adam from Prairie Concepts to install laminate plank in our lounge and dining room and safety sheet vinyl flooring throughout our kitchen. Not only was the job completed within the timeline it was done professionally and flawlessly throughout. Adam worked night and day for a week just so we can open our doors on time; which is vital to any business when budgeting a renovation. Anyways I can't thank him enough and can't wait for him to do the backsplash tiling at our home. Oh and If you want to admire Adam's work come to Confusion Corner Drinks + Food and check it out and maybe stay for a drink and some chicken tenders:)
