Very friendly staff, loved the hygienist, my dentist was very kind and talked me through everything he was doing for my root canal and my teeth look and feel so much better. I've never had this great an experience at the dentist!

Trina was my hygienist and Dr. Lawrence Vanzella helped me out. I was just in for an oral examination and cleaning. They do a wonderful job and they're both kind and pleasant to chat with. Great staff and environment all in all!

I'm coming in to rate again because its been 3 years and they are still, the most gentle dentists, had a wisdom tooth pulled and didn't even know he took it out, took care of my emergency during covid without question, fantastic with my kids, great hygienists and the ladies at the front are amazing always. Highly highly recommend them.

Dr.Tariq Alsalous..... Best dentist I have ever had attend me in MY LIFE.My story: I do not have dental insurance, I can not afford to see the dentist regularly and as a consequence my problems/ issues in my mouth are compounded due to lack of financial resources to attend the proper maintenance my teeth require..... Can anyone else relate too this?One of my front tooth was a crown, broke off leaving only the post. A $1200 bill to replace the crown (including lab work). Six months went by before I was able to figure out financially how I could get my problem fixed.I was out for a walk when I came across the 'Dental House' a little out of the way... where perhaps 'over heads' are so high... if you catch my drift. I went in and was subsequently schedule an appointment to see Dr. Tariq. What happened on the day I had my appointment is the reason I'm writing this recommendation.I told Dr. Tariq that I had a budget of $1500 to get as much work to my teeth as possible (which by the way is thousands of $$$) and he proceeded to exam my teeth, ask specific qualifying questions to prioritize the work I required.... but wait he did something that NO other dentist thought to ever tell me is that I had a choice between a crown VS a tooth that he could make for me on the spot which was $900 less expensive than a crown!What? Straight upThen with two other broken teeth, side by side with cavities he wound up doing what I can only say was a 2 for 1 special because when I walked out of there with a NEW front tooth + two cavities/ broken teeth fixed my bill was $533 including GST. In addition the speed with how Dr. Tariq work was amazing and I walked out of he office feeling as though for the FIRST time in my life seeing a dentist that I really and I mean really got a fair shake at the cash register because he cared about my financial situation and did everything in his power to assist me.... and the rest of the family because my wife wound up scooping the balance of the money for groceries!Thank you Dr. Tariq! I have told dozens of people my story and am referring everyone I meet in your direction.... which again is kind of on the fringe of Garibaldi Highlands.

12 stars aren't enough. I had gone to a dentist in the city who told me I needed a crown on a tooth without doing an xray. Since I moved to Squamish and that seemed fishy I decided to get a second opinion and move my dentistry needs to Squamish. I'm so grateful that I chose to visit Dr. Vanzella. Turns out my tooth was fine, just needed to polish a rough edge. He saved my tooth! And my wallet. Beyond deep expertise and talent, everyone I met at this clinic was genuine and kind, Trish at the front desk and Sue who assisted Dr. Vanzella were an absolutely a pleasure. I honestly can't wait to go back. Who says that about a dentist. :)

First time as a patient here and the last time. I have had Dr. V prescribe me medications that not only damage my transplanted liver but also 2 other prescriptions to medication im HIGHLY allergic to and could have resulted in death if i took them given my allergy reactions to said medicine. I dont suggest this place at all to anyone. Maybe get a doctor who looks at the patients chart and history to see it blatantly says what im allergic to. GET EDUCATED and update yourself with your patients before another mistake like this happens. Good thing i know my own body.

I would like to thank the entire team here for giving me back the ability to smile and the wellness that goes along with that. All you guys are the best and I appreciate what you have done for me. Dr. V your the best!!!!!!!

Nothing beats going to this Dr Vanzella. He takes his time and genuinely cares about my health and wellness, and listens to me. From the second I walk in and I am greeted by Joan, to the second I leave, I am so happy. Feels weird to say but I feel so at home here and I highly recommend this office to everyone.

Best dentist I have ever had. Gentle and kind. Have now twice come on a weekend to fix a painful dental emergency. Even left their personal home phone number available on their answering machine for dental emergencies. Stellar!
