I broke my tooth and called as an emergency appointment …… they had me in within a half hour and removed the tooth as there was no saving it . I usually have anxiety when it comes to dental work as I have had bad experiences in the past however everyone was great ! So nice and friendly it made me feel so much better about it ! I’d recommend them to anyone hands down !

Excellent service, tip tip spotless spa like facility.One critical thing is Child and dental (needle) procedure does not get along that easy. It takes allot of experience, skills and techniques to execute dental procedure to kids/children.Our son has serious trust issue but they were able to make him comfortable in ni time at all.Our son got his filling done successfully by expert. Followed their important reminder for post dental does and don’t. Our son was already playing with snow at a waterfalls just few minutes away from clinic. That’s how great they are!Covid safety procedures in placed. Saw then sanitized each room in every tiny details after each procedure done. Temperature check upon welcoming you as patient. They take safety really serious for us not to worry.They have another location at Dundas Valley Dentistry 4 Ogilvie St, Dundas, ON L9H 2S2 if that is closer to you.

Dr. Shankman is a great dentist. He is gentle, kind and patient. He explains his procedures and practice. You couldn't find a better place for dental work. He has a sweet little dog that holds court in the waiting room. Petting a dog helps with dental anxiety!

This is one of the best dental place I’ve been to. I’m usually afraid of the dentist cuz of how much pain I’m in during a procedure or afterwards, but today I had a root canal and wisdom tooth out and I only felt pressure not pain. The atmosphere is very welcoming friendly, and patience is high. Thank you Gore Park Dentistry.

I had a really great experience here, I came in with tooth pain and after an xray it showed I had a huge cavity and needed an immediate root canal and some fixing up on other teeth. Mark and Sonya did the root canal that day and it was quick and with very little discomfort. As someone that doesn't have insurance, they walked me through the process and price every step of the way, and we worked out a flexible payment plan. Would def recommend, 10/10

Dr. Shankman has two locations in both Dundas, and Hamilton, Ontario. Every time I’ve gone for an appointment, I’m provided with updates to make sure nothing is ever missed.The staff are all incredibly kind and friendly and Dr. Shankman does excellent work with affordable costs and treatment plans available to give you a better idea and breakdown on any expenses you may encounter. I endlessly will continue to recommend Gore Park Dentistry! Thanks for the excellent work guys!

I found this practice by reading reviews just like you. Nobody has a bad thing to say so I decided to try for myself. My experience was great. Dr Mark explained all of the scenarios and price points and worked with me on a plan to attack years of dental neglect. I was nervous and anxious but his explanations of the procedures, and constant checking in on me made me feel more at ease than I have ever been in a dentist chair. He doesn't talk down to you. Even when dealing with his staff, Dr Mark sounds caring and compassionate. If you're looking for a new dentist, give this practice a shot!

All of the staff here are absolutely amazing and made me feel very comfortable. Going in for my root canal I was terrified and extremely anxious and the staff especially Dr. Shankman calmed me down and walked me through every step of the procedure. The staff made my visit a lot easier and Dr. Shankman made sure I felt no pain which is what I was scared of. I'm definitely going back here!!!

Mark is amazing. I’m usually so anxious and terrified when it comes to work being done on my teeth but he made everything so calm and comforting. I was dealing with wisdom teeth pain and wasn’t able to talk so when my mom called today, he got me in less than an hour after the call. Extracted my tooth within 10 minutes with absolutely no pain. I definitely recommend Mark and Gore Park Dentistry 100%.

THIS REVIEW IS WRITTEN WITHOUT PREJUDICE.-I have gone to this dentistry twice for cleaning. Albeit I travel for work - this location was convenient when I was home as it's walking distance.The second cleaning, began almost one hour later then my appointment, which, set me behind on my appointments remainder of the day.Having said that, I thought the folks and the practice was lovely. Similar to all of the former reviews.Nevertheless, this particular week, I had a gum infection - pericoronitis- diagnosed by family doctor and prescribed amoxi-clav, on Monday; and by Tuesday, I could no longer speak, eat, barely drink fluids, and the gum behind my second molar was the size of a pea (not exaggerating). Notwithstanding, the pain was as severe and as intolerable as it can get.I had called for an appointment at Gore Park, and they couldn't fit me into Tuesday but did for Wednesday at 1:30pm. At 11am on the day of the appointment, I get a missed call from Dr. Shankman, followed by a text, stating he might need to prescribe me antibiotics- I informed him I already am, and we exchanged texts as I was in a work session. I sent him pictures, let him know the abscess that had formed had ruptured and fluids drained out, and the swelling has decreased but still yet, painful.He cancels the appointment via texts, states that this is a wisdom tooth issue
