Lost our keys, dealership was over priced and needed the vehicle to be towed to them. This guy came out right to the vehicle and got us all sorted out. Obviously well stocked with keys and fobs and easy going about a tough situation. Some of the reviews here are correct in saying he may be a bit short with you but he was upfront, honest and that's all I really wanted when getting the run around form everyone else.

Called and asked for a quote a few weeks back. Made me feel like I was wasting his time. Quite abrasive. Called his competitor and had service done post haste with a smile.Talked to a few other locals and found I wasn't the only one who received the same attitude.How has this guy been in business for so long? Nice to see some new professional blood in the BV.

We called to ask when he would be available he said not for over an hour. We asked how much he charges and he said $75+GST for unlocking a car. We said we might try and find somewhere more affordable as AMA only charges $40. He responded with thanks for wasting my time" and hung up. I decided to look up other reviews and apparently he is just an unprofessional jerk lol"

Great customer service, we were stuck in banff national park with a lost key on a Saturday night and he rushed out to help us by cutting a new key and programming a new fob. Unfortunately the vehicle was a one off year and needed a specific dealer only fob. As a result he cut a new key and only charged us less than half what he quoted even though it was an after hours emergency. I have dealt with other locksmiths who would never have cut the price down so significantly or made such an effort to make it to us in a timely manner and genuinely wanted to help us.Thanks again!

Called joe today because i was locked out of my house. He was busy, fair enough. Said couldnt come for 3hrs. I asked if he knew of anyone else in the bow valley who could help sooner. Thats when he got bent out of shape and called me rude for asking and hung up on me mid sentence.I would hope as a business owner if someone calls and was stranded with a child on a hot day outside that he could recomend someone else that might be available sooner instead of trying to hog business for himself.Call Robin from Canmore Lock Service Instead! Pleasure to deal with.

Joe was excellent! Saved me a tow and a crazy programming bill at the Toyota dealership. Joe worked on my Tacoma for 2 hours reprogramming two fobs. It was a tough job as the programming wouldn't take." He charged a very fair price. I called him at 7am. He called me back within 5 minutes. He also took his lunch "on the go" just to accommodate our schedule. I recommend Joe from the Bow."

Joe from the Bow is a good dude. We needed our truck key replaced because my girlfriend dropped the key in the lake and we had a reservation booked for the Lake Ohara bus and Abbot Pass Hut two days later. Things were getting tight and I'd be pretty upset if we missed that trip but Joe took good care of us and it didn't cost an arm and a leg. The Ford dealer in Canmore recommended him, and said otherwise, I'd have to tow the truck into Canmore. Eww. I feel like buying him a beer next time we're in Canmore.

My partner lost his keys while snowboarding in Banff. We called two dealerships that said he would have to tow the car to them and it would be a couple days for the key to come in. I called Joe and he was available right away, drove all the way to the ski hill and made us a key for a fraction of what the tow would have been. Thank you Joe!
