We work with dozens of engineers and this guy is one of the worst we have seen. Without visiting the site he assumed the existing wood structure was masonry, and proceeded to design the new structure. Now my client needs new structural drawings to re-apply for permits and this engineer wants to charge again for correcting his work. Secondly, this engineer offers “sales” Beware of “sales” from engineers. Would you hire a doctor that offers sales on surgery? How can an engineer offer a sale on structural work. What kind of quality structure will result from that scheme? This guy is a disgrace to the engineering profession.
